Personally, I think Zero would be the best pick. I like his character design a lot. His move set could include his trusty sword.

Zero, he just flat out looks cool. I would've said Proto Man but he's already an assist trophy @-@. But Zero has some unique moves and don't we all love Supa fighting robots

Zero definitely for the win :p He is probably one of the coolest Mega Man characters that I have ever seen in the whole series so it would be really cool if he were to be a playable character :D though I can say that personally there's not really a need for him , since Mega Man is already really cool , but that's just me :p
 
Obviously Bass. Bass has the entire set of power ups from Megaman and bass, which Megaman dosent utilize in smash,plus treble,the super adapter, and some of mega mans power ups which he got throughout Megaman 8! His normal buster would also suffice, it could work like fox's lasers with minor knock back. With the super adapter as the final smash you simply cannot go wrong.
 
I think Bass, because Protoman is pretty much the same as Megaman, and Zero would have too many advantages as a character.

Protoman is Mii clothing DLC so it's not like he'd even be playable. I think Zero would be a better choice than Bass because he has a sword and you can work with it easier than Treble. It would also be more fun to use Zero, heck he has his own game(s?)

And yet those two are part of the original 8 and not complete newcomers from a 3rd party franchise who ALREADY has a rep.

Its a tough one between Zero and Bass. Protoman is out since your Mii can be Protoman as a costume. Bass is supposed to be a direct imitation of Mega Man, with the same ability to use the robot master's weapon and the adapter. But Zero is a completely different charcter. So Zero has my vote. Even Bass would be cool to have, but may be another clone for Mega Man like Pit and Dark Pit.

I would most likely want to see zero in smash 4. I would like him to be in smash 4 because he is just as popular as mega man and he is even fit to be because is just awesome. also because he can use his sword in many of his attacks.
