which perspective do y'all Mario Kart players prefer?

I like 3rd person myself I've tried 1st person and it just doesn't work for me I only have the 7th Mario Kart game

I feel 3rd person is the best, because you can tell what's going on with your direct sides and a little behind you, plus 3rd person gives you a bit of a birds eye view which is very very helpful against certain turns and ramps and etc., i don't know how 1st person works because you can't exactly play offensive, I.E. shoot the character behind you with a green shell. The game just isn't made for first person, however this is not saying that someone cannot master it, which im sure people have.

I've always used a 3rd person perspective playing any Mario Kart game. It just doesn't feel right to play it in 1st person since I am definitely not used to that, much less for any other racing game. 1st person perspective always feels pretty strange to play with and it's not comfortable >.<

3rd person, absolutely. Playing in 1st person is a lot complicated to me, but I have to admit that you feel a lot of excitement when playing in 1st person... Plus, you unlock a kind of car when playing certain times in 1st person, although I don't remember.

Easily third-person. I've used the first-person view before. It feels a little natural when I'm using the Circle Pad for steering but it felt a little awkward using gyroscope control. Not really worth trying to get the Golden Steering Wheel. As for item usage, it really feels no different.

3rd person, I prefer to see the character I'm playing as. It's much easier to control and see where you're driving. 1st person view is pretty difficult, probably suited for more experienced players. I'd end up bumping into obstacles and other racers. Perhaps it's more like you're in the game, but I personally hate it. xD

Well I prefer 3rd person, because I can see where the other players are coming! Well I tried 1st person view but I don't like it!

3rd person all the way: it's the perspective mario kart has always used, so it just feels much more natural. Probably the only people useing 1st person are ones who have played other racing games, but are new to mario kart.

3rd person is the best for me, with first person I tend to slower and I never turn in time. Third person has always been used for the games, however the other perspective is a nice addition but it's probably best for gamers who are best with first person.

I think that nintendo made the 1st person with the intention to make it more realistic though. I tried the 1st person at first but I just cannot see the entire course and many times I bump into a wall XD. I prefer the 3rd person because it is easier and so I don't but or fall much as I already do.

3rd person is what I prefer. 1st person is pretty uncomfortable, as your kart tends to swing about when you are making a jump while coming out of water, or when you are doing downwards while soaring. Also, if there is a person beside you, you sren't able to notice him/ her.

I always use the 3rd person behind the view perspective that is set as the default for the game. Any other viewpoint tends to mess up my actual turning skills, as I am no longer sure exactly how tight or not so tight to make a curve without crashing into a wall or falling off the edge of the stage.

I mainly play 3rd person, except for when i tried in mario kart 7 to get the golden steering wheel, and failed miserably because of me not knowing how to use the gyroscope properly. Playing in 1st person blocks a lot of the screen in my opinion, and makes it harder on me, adding in the fact i cant see behind me without switching perspective.
