It depends on what you intend to use it for. I have used ASUS, Lenovo, and Dell laptops, and they all are really good in their own ways. I mainly do 3D Rendering and gaming, and all of them seem adequate. Asus in particular is the one you should be looking for, as they have good-end systems for cheap. Dell, however, also has some great choices. The Dell Inspiron are great all-rounders, with a mix of CPU + GPU power, good ram (4-8 GB), and great customer support.
I own a Lenovo as of now, and I have had it for 3 years. Never experienced any sort of problems with it. A laptop with pretty average specs, I was really surprised when it could run ArmA 3, Battlefield 4, and even Titanfall.
