Who is better Lucina or Marth

if you mean by smash bros standards i say lucina shes alot easier to use for starting players and her blade has power thought out all of it. as for marth hes good and is meant for advanced players he get bonus damage at the tip of the blade and hes a bit faster than lucina

I personally like Lucina better. I feel that she has better moves and is easier to use. My next point is biased but I also like to use her because I'm a girl. I actually use Lucina once in a while unlike Marth who I almost never use. Overall I believe Lucina is a better character, and I bet someone here is really good with Marth and thinks that Marth is better. It all really depends on the person.

I don't typically play as marth or lucina but if I really had to choose I'd go with Lucina... Marth actually sounds pretty annoying to me Aren't their moves fairly similar.? I haven't played any of the games they're in so I don't know much of them

I like Lucina better, as she seems to have her power balanced out throughout her blade unlike Marth, who's sword tip deals the most damage. I don't want to squint my eyes to make sure I'm hitting the enemy with the tip of the blade

Marth is better to me. One, I have yet to get Super Smash Bros. 3DS, so I haven't tried out Lucina yet. Two, Marth has always been a top-tiered character in the previous Smash Bros. games, so I would think that he is just as good in this game.

I personally think Marth is awesome. If you can manage hits with the tip he can be devastatingly powerful. Just today I was playing as Marth and landed fully charged shield breaker (standard special) and KOed an opponent at 30 percent damage.

Both are pretty much the same but Lucina has one move different from Marth and she's more for beginners than to Marth which is more Advanced. Honestly I'd rather use Lucina for this Super Smash Bros rather than Marth.

honestly, i feel she's faster than marth, and she's my fourth most played character in smash.

Marth takes tip-hits to actually do more damage than Lucina, so she wins out IMO just because it's tricky to get those during matches from how dodgy opponents are or can be, and positioning yourself right is more of a distraction if you ask me.

I prefer using Lucina, because like in ssbm the tip of Marth's sword is its strongest point. Lucinas blade has even power in the whole blade (which is presumably weaker then the tip of Marth's) which makes her combos a bit better

I like Marth better. His attacks are stronger and encourage you to use expert spacing as his attacks to quite a bit of damage. His slower speed is hardly even noticeable, his shield breaker requires less charge to be a threat, and he can finish off opponents easy to make a well rounded fighter.
