Who is the most efficient character to play as

I am getting smash 4 after I have spent many years of hibernation after Melee (I Never Played brawl - so moan if you want) and I need to know who will get the job done.
PS: I will play both 3ds and Wii U
 
I'm not sure, I know for one everyone will come saying who is the best to use power wise or strength wise. But honestly I think it's who ever your most comfortable playing because you're going to know their abilities well. For me it's Pikachu and Link.
 
There really isn't a "most efficient" character but there are plenty off different characters who do certain thnings better then others.

Who did you play in melee and how did you use him/her?
 
I fell like I fight well with Ness if that's what your asking. He may not be the heaveyest character but he can still deal a lot of damage

Then try ness in smash 4, I use Jigglypuff very well and she's the lightest so I wouldn't worry :p
 
In Super Smash Bros Wii u or 3ds play Mario. He's good in competitive and he's a good choice for new people. Also Fox and Captain Falcon isn't as good as they were in Melee but they're still good, I main Captain Falcon. If you don't want to play Mario because he's too deja vu then play Shiek to remember the Melee days
