Who is your favorite starter and why?

Mine is Cyndaquil because he is very cute, and for the fact that he evolves into Typhlosion. Here are some reasons why you should pick Cyndaquil as a starter anytime you CAN pick him. First of all Typhlosion (the final evolution of Cyndaquil) is one of the best fire types next to Charizard. Second, when he evolves into Typhlosion, his move set can be pretty powerful, powerful enough for you to keep him at the top of your party for the entire game, and lastly, all 3 evolutions of the Cyndaquil line are just adorable.
 
I like Chikorita for nostalgia and grassy purposes. Plus Meganium was my best Pokemon in Crystal, it knew Solarbeam, Body Slam, Razor Leaf, and Giga Drain. Plus the evolution line is adorable, little grass dinosaurs are really cute :p
 
My favorite starter has to be mudkip of his overabunent cuteness not a smart Alek like treko (I HATE) anyways he is strong to he trio presented in gen three. Thanks for posting this up so I can voice an opinion and I love everyone else choice because its how the Pokémon strikes you when you see it.

I love Cyndaquil, I remember picking him as a starter in Pokémon Silver and then again in SoulSilver I love just his design and not to mention that Typhlosion looks so cool in Pokémon X. I still have Rain (my Typlosion) in the Pokéwalker :)bear: because I deleted my game and couldn't bear to delete Rain...now he's stuck in there:bear:).

But aside from Cyndaquil the other favorite of mine would have to be Charmander I love the like guy and just by looking at him I thought he was a cool little dinosaur when I first saw him.

Last one is Pidgey, I know he isn't a starter but I got bored of the starters in XY and caught the first Pokémon i saw. Pidgey was amazing and I hadn't an issue beating my friends I think Pidgey should be a starter.
 
I love Totodile and Piplup because I just love water types and Totodile is so cute and Feraligatr looks so cool :cool: and Piplup is cute as well and Empoleon is the best (Not competitively) ! Empoleon was my first lv. 100 and Feraligatr was my second x3
 
I think that my favorite would probably be Snivy since it really is the only grass starter that I really like and it is pretty strong as well . Other than that , I would say Mudakip because it is always so cute and I like its evolution Swampert . Besides , who doesn't really leik dem Mudkips :cool:
 
My favorite starter is probably Snivy. Snivy looks very cool. Snivy also has very interesting and very cool attacks. I also like the different evolutions that Snivy can have. I remember I used to always use Snivy in battle in Pokemon White. I had good times battling with Snivy.
 
My favorite start it would probably be Treecko. In the first book going in that ever played which was Pokémon Emerald he was the starter that I chose and I loved it ever since. My friend liked Torchic and we had a rivalry that fueled my love for Treecko, even if I had the disadvantage.

I like Chikorita because of the beautiful flower in its final evolution. Plus, it has a pretty decent amount of strength.

But I also have to say that Snivy is awesome too. It's slightly weaker, but it looks boss after it evolves. ._.

My favourite is Mudkip. Firstly, mudkip has been the one I have used through every playthrough I've had of Emerald (rarely, I used the others, but that was a long time ago), so you could say I have some special attachment and some sentimental value to it. Secondly, Mudkip is so good against the first, third, and fourth gym. Lastly, Mudkip is just so cute!

Either Torchic or Froakie. Torchic was my starter in ruby for my first and all subsequent playthroughs for about a year after I bought that game, and Blaziken just looks cool to me. I sadly can't use him in the OU tier because of his ban to ubers.

Froakie didn't really stick out to me much when I first saw it, but when I started my second X/Y playthrough and picked one up as my starter, it grew on me. Greninja is cool, even moreso as a shiny, and his practical usage as a cover-all in competitive battles (until the ban to ubers) was like frosting on the frog ninja cake. :cat:

Both of my favorite starters are the only starters to have their final evolutions placed in the ubers tier... *sigh*

I love Torchic and Cyndaquil. They are so cute. I also love chickens!. And also because Blaziken is really strong and cool. I've always loved fire types since I started playing Pokemon. My first starter was Cyndaquil. I also really like Totodile. I remember I named one of my Totodile Toto-kun.:rotfl:

I actually love them all! My favourites are chimchar, charmander, cindaquil and all hoenn starters that is Treeko, Torcgic and Mudkip. My favourite is Torchic because of da Blaziken and da Mega Blaziken! :eek:

pikachu counts as a starter so heres why i love him.i would pick pikachu because its yellow and i love yellow and its so cute omg. and also its the freaking mascot of the pokemon universe so ya pikachu is number one in my opinion. Lol pikachu ftw!!!!

My favorite starter is Mudkip. I loved Mudkip way before he was even popular. My reasons for this is because his evolutions gain the best (IMO) typing, Water/Ground. Only one weakness to grass which, while x4, isn't often found in competitive battling. Plus, I have fond memories of Mudkip when R/S first came out, him being the only starter to get me past the third gym leader (Wattson used to give me so much trouble when I was younger).

R.I.P Muddy the Mudkip. Trainer loves you so much even though you're gone T_T *SOB*

My favorite would have to be chimchar because It's actually really sweet and I have lots of memories surrounding it. In every game I have attempted to raise a chimchar. I love Infernape too because of its flaming head. Like why would you not want a Pokemon with a flaming head! It's soooo cool!!!!

Turtwig for Life! I mean do I have to explain? It's literally a turtle and it's adorable. Plus it's final evolution Torterra is my 2nd favorite Pokemon. I mean it's literally the words Turtle and Twig fused together. Of course the main reason is because Diamond was my first PKMN game (IK I'm lame ;-; ) I picked Turtwig and I thought "Woah this thing looks cute I like it!" Then I got it to level 82 and had all my other PKMN at like level 30. So that's why I like Turtwig :p

Mudkip FTW! Cause he evolves into a really cool Pokémon and because Mega Swampert is a very strong mega.To me Mudkip is a cute little unique Pokémon.I also like how it's Water/Ground so it can be immune to electric just like Wooper.They're also the same animal species as Wooper.I normally take grass starters,So this was the first water type I chose.

I would say Squirtle because it can take down Charmander easily. Later on when you evolve Squirtle all the way to Blastoise, it will have a high Defense and it will be like a tank. It may not be fast but at least your opponent's Pokémon won't kill you on the first move
