Wrong. Once you purify it enough it can gain access to its natural moves or TM moves without purifying it. That's also what I liked about the series, the free unique moves that were so special because TMs could only be used once. Heal Bell Dragonite? Yes please.Nah give us stadium 3 first. Actually give us a main series pokemon game on a console and I might just have a reason to buy a Nintendo console again! (Haven't bought one since the GameCube) besides shadow pokemon are just normal pokemon who can only use struggle until you purify them. There isn't much of a difference shadows could offer to gameplay at all. TLDR Plz no
To add on to the comment @Artisan made, not only do they regain their moves as the heart gauge decreases, but they also know moves called Shadow Moves. In Coliseum, they know Shadow Rush, a 90 power typeless move with recoil, and there was also Hyper Mode, which activates at random, prevents any item use on it or any move other than Shadow Rush, but it increases crit chances by a TON! However, in XD there is Reverse Mode, where it's the same thing with only using a shadow move and such and other, but there is no increased crit chance. In XD shadow pokemon start with shadow moves that aren't always just Shadow Rush. You could also use the call command to undo Hyper/Reverse Mode, and decrease the heart gauge. It also undos the sleep condition, and gives the pokemon X accuracy, I believe for only 1 turn though, which makes 1 hit faint moves BROKEN TO THE POINT OF NO RETURN!Nah give us stadium 3 first.
