Who's your favorite Pokemon Protagonist?

Just as the title says, who's your favorite Pokemon protagonist and why, you see after a long time of thinking i just wanted to get a different perspective on other people and see there views and by protagonist i mean GAMES ANIME BOOKS and MYSTERY Dungeon series all those mediums
mine is totally RED i just think hes bad azz in every way possible

I like the protagonists from XY, since I'm actually able to customize my character with clothes, accessories, etc. instead of sticking to one look.

Although if XY protagonists don't count, then I say that the protagonists from Platinum are my favorite. Pretty detailed characters.

Btw on the poll, I voted 'He's okay,' since Red has one basic design.

yeah any Pokemon protagonist so x/y counts and yeah reds is pretty a basic design but thats why i like it because if i were to cosplay as RED it would look ok and not to flashy for me,and so people that dont know Pokemon will not think of it like hes dressing like a little kids character ^^

I guess if this counts my favorite is Misty. Those original 3 (and Tracy) were really unique and funny, nowadays it seems like they have no personality anymore in the anime.

My favorite protagonist is Gold/Ethan from Pokemon G/S/C. His manga persona is pretty cool; especially with his ability to breed Pokemon (unlike other protagonists) and I also like how he uses his billiard cue to launch Poke Balls.

Wes. He's just a boss with a punk attitude. He steals Pokemon for good. Better than enslaving them like regular trainers right? Not anyone could earn the loyalty of Ho-Oh. And come on, he rides a hover-cycle and uses awesome Johto Eeveelutions. Shame Rui has to follow him everywhere to discover shadow Pokemon. That almost ruined the fun. At least Rui isn't seen in normal Pokemon Battles.

My favorites Ruby/Brendan (RSE), he's the first protagonist I played as and his design just strikes my fancy somehow. I especially love his manga version, real men participate in contests.

My favourite protagonist would have to be May, she was the character I first played as in my first pokemon game, and also she is one of my all time favourite pokemon anime characters so GO MAY
