Pokkén Tournament will be released for the Wii U next month, but some people have been asking or suggesting to bring the game to the 3DS. After games like Hyrule Warriors, it isn't a rare sight to see.

GameStop had an interview with Katsuhiro Harada and Masaaki Hoshino and it's certainly not going to happen. You can see what they said during the interview in the quotes below :

Masaaki Hoshino said:
It’s definitely a challenge to get it on the Wii U with what we’re doing right now. And it definitely would be a challenge to have the same graphical experience on the 3DS.
Katsuhiro Harada said:
Programmer does not need technology. Programmer needs budget.
So I guess for now you'll have to get a Wii U to get the Pokemon + Tekken experience, ;)

The game feels like it should be played on the Wii U anyways, I don't think the 3DS could handle both amazing graphics and the intensity of a fighting game that's more action packed than smash. I'm actually glad that it's for the Wii U, I think it's worth the $60 that I have saved for it =p. But if a 3DS version did come, I'd probably not get it after having the Wii U version (much like my situation with Hyrule Warriors right now).

(Get a Wii U?! Plz =P)

It seems only natural that such a game like that can't be on the 3DS (even the New 3DS). The same could possibly be said for other major Wii U titles, such as Splatoon and etc. There would be plenty or maybe a large amount of limitations which wouldn't be any good experience anymore.
