you know how in Mario kart wii or mk8 they have bikes but in mk7 uhhh I hate playing as Rosalina only in her full dress. its so big and irritating. so when I play my wiiu i choose a bike because its fast and she looks so awesome in her bike suit.

It is just as it is maybe the creators of the game didn't think of the idea before they were making MK8 for the wii u plus it would have taken up a lot more space on the 3ds SD card if they did.

Dear friend, I think they had already thought of the idea of motorbikes in Mario Kart, don't forget about Mario Kart for the wii, there you were able to race whether by bike or by kart. I just think that they may have left out the bikes because they incorporated the customization system, you know, I think that was something completely new to the franchise. Maybe that's the answer why they just left out the motorbikes in order to concentrate on customizable karts.

I know, right?! It's really irritating! They could've, but they didn't... It's really disappointing...

It would've probably been too time-consuming to put bikes on to a handheld installment from a console installment, so they didn't bother and shifted it over to the next console installment instead.

I have no complaints whatsoever, I hated bikes until Mario Kart 8.

Because they simply had to add something new to Mario Kart 8, so... bikes! I'm certain they never considered bikes until the time came. The series is called Kart after all :giggle:

I think it was because of how overpowered bikes were in Mario Kart Wii and they didn't have enough time to balance them like they did with Mario Kart 8.

That's my theory anyway.
