Why mains should'nt exist (MY OPINION)

I have 3 reasons,
Before we get onto the topic, You should know that this is MY OPINION. Please keep mean replies inside yourself.
1. new taste.
Maining means your going to stick together FOREVER. you won't know what other characters taste like (not really, just trying out.)
2. Weak or strong?
Some characters may be strong on some stats, but not on the others.Take a unbalanced guy like Little Mac. He is fast, but he isn't that strong.
3. Studying your moves
Some opponents can study your move carefully. So you have to make up combos untill you used all the combos.
But max, how can i replace mains?
Easy, use starters.
Starters are characters you use
for starting 1st round everytime a new player appears.That's all folks!

God you know nothing about competitive smash brothers or the game in general because it's so bad.

People have mains because the character fits their playstyle the best and they enjoy playing as that character. Having a "main" just means your best character or the character you like the most.

Some main characters for stats, for looks, or just for own personal reasons. They can always discover new stuff and what not. They aren't restricted to one character. Saying mains shouldn't exist is basically saying "you shouldn't like a specific character"

No that's quite literally the dumbest thing you can do in a match. If you're in tournament, you never bring out a new character unless you've warmed up with them earlier on. People use the same combos because they work. You're always going to be studied, and constantly switching just makes it that much easier to win against you.

Side note: don't make a topic that relates to the competitive scene of smash without at least knowing about it yourself
