Wii vs. Wii U

Which one do you prefer and why? I know some people might not be a huge fan of the U (it may have disappointed them or something) or was the original Wii your favorite? I felt that Nintendo did really well with the console. It sold so many and was very successful.
 
As much as I adore the Wii, I have to go with Wii U on this one. Having online play for Wii Sports Club is really fun. I have very high expectations for Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros. 4.
 
The Wii U is the superior and a lot faster then the Wii, it has native 1080p support (though I think most titles are 720p upscaled). It has online play, next gen games like Assassin's Creed IV and also has the new Mario Kart 8, Wii U gets my vote.
 
Far too early to answer for me - ask again in 5 or 6 years. ;)
 
Obviously the Wii U what a crazy question because it's alomost the same as the Wii U the diference is that the Wii U has more feature to offer.
