The Chromebook. Other than being a younger brother to Android (And the latest edition in the unix family), and having one of the most simplest OS interfaces (I dare you to get lost in chrome OS, I dare you!), it is a schoolhouse favorite, and used alongside tablets and PC's cost-wise and user-wise, it is no wonder how this peice of cheap plastic came to be a favorite(ish) among people who do not know how to operate the other brands.
But then again, there are downsides. Along with not that much to do (except installing ubuntu 12.04, which is old), this is probably a new strain in laptops and the face of cloud computing.
