Hey everyone! I wanna bring this topic up because I fear that the potential pokemon Z will not come out. I want to hear everyone's opinions and theories on this subject. Other topics you might talk about maybe: What will gen 7 be like? When will the next game come out? Is Nintendo just going to resort to arcade games in Japan at the time being? This is an open discussion on Pokemon. You can bring up any topic you want. This is also my first discussion thread so I hope you guys enj

Pokemon Z is not officially revealed yet and most likely will not be called Z, but something else. It's also expected to come out sometime in September-November 2016, just as almost all other games have so far.

As for the starters' typing I would like to see are a Water/Dragon (basically a sea dragon, similar to Gyarados, but looking more like the Japanese water dragon {or Yamata no Orochi} or Lernaean Hydra) on with Water Absorb [immune to Water, x2 weak to Dragon and Fairy], a Grass/Electric (I'm thinking about something like a large hound-like Pokemon that looks really bulky) with Thick Fat [x2 weak to Poison and Bug] and a Fire/Poison (something with toxic flammable fumes and flames to cause explosions) with Levitate [immune to Ground, x2 weak to Water, Psychic and Rock] or Fire/Ground (a lava serpent/leviathan) with Solid Rock [immune to Electric, x3 weak to Water and x1.5 to Ground)] or Fire/Steel (a partially metalized Typhlosion-like Pokemon with hot molten metal dripping) with Filter [immune to Poison, x1.5 weak to Water and Fighting and x3 weak to Ground]! All of the ideas are focused on having each one with as close to two regular weaknesses as possible, with the rest being balanced out by the stat spread!

Yea I really agree with that water-dragon typing, since there's barely any of them right now. In my opinion, I think there should be more electric-grass types like mow-rotom

Earlier, I really doubted if a new 6th gen game is gonna come. However, after the new Zygarde formes were announced, Im having a feeling that Z, X2Y2, XZYZ or something like that is gonna come out.

As for 7th Gen, I believe there will not be another Fire/fighting (we have 3 already). Something like Fire/Electric would be cool! A fire creature which will be able to electrify! Also, it won't have a disadvantage against water types.

The grass starter might be Grass/Rock or Grass/Ground with high Defence stat. Something like a greass type boulder Pokemon. We already have a Grass/Ground Torterra. Another one would be cool!

The Water type could be water/Flying, something like a flying water eagle.

Yeah that's really cool! I really like the idea of a fire-electric starter!

Well now, I did some checking around and the other generation starters do not have any hidden abilities like that. And it would kinda be fair because if they did, they might be a little bit pore powerful. And since I don't follow gaming news, I don't have an opinion on Pokémon Z or anything planned for it. Also, what is this "Nintendo focusing on arcade games in Japan"?

What I mean by that is how games like Pókken is coming out. And since thats an arcade game in Japan, I just thought that Nintnedo would start trying something new instead of handheld systems.

making 2 games is likly more economical. But the starts stay the same. If its about zygarde, it means its gen 6 so only new forms and megas. Well and volcanion sort of could new as he's not officially revealed.

Yeah I agree about the 2 new games. My guess is that they'll actually introduce megas for the starters this time though, and plus a few new ones as well.
