Will Star Fox Zero have Amiibo capability?

With Star Fox Zero coming this year, hopefully, the hype is real for Nintendo fans. But I've been wondering, will it have functionality with Amiibo? Specially, the Fox and Falco Amiibos. To me, it would make sense. But I don't know if Nintendo announced Star Fox Zero working with Amiibo. If Nintendo did please tell me. If not, how would Amiibo work with Star Fox Zero?

Star Fox Zero does indeed have amiibo capability. The fox and falco amiibo from the Smash Bros. series are compatible with the game, as is the new transforming Arwing. I do not know of any other amiibo with functionality in the game besides the ones that I have listed above.

If you beat the game it also unocks that function if you dont have them. Very nice of them to do that.
