i noticed some people really complain about spirit crubicle elypse in this game and i most likely know why. theres a moderate problem with battling anything in here (especially unique monsters) and its a few things that actually heavily nerf you: blades cant reach max affinity, youre locked to lv 1 special and this also prevents you from using blade combos, and healing power is also weakened. this is very bad and the fact the area itself is such an atrocious maze doesnt help all this severe nerfage that the entire area leaves you with. however, there are a few good blades that can ignore this frustrating hinderance and use their full power
of course, Poppi in any form wont be affected because remember that shes an artificial blade. on a new game+ Poppi QT Pi makes this hilariously easy and shes fun to cheese the area with. on new game just use Poppi QT instead (third form requires chapter 8 or so if i remember right). if you have the DLC, shulk and fiora also bypass this barrier and so does Elma. however, i suggest shulk and fiora due to the fact that Elma: Redux challenge fight is required to be complete for you to bring Elma here. Dino Drama has more higher level mobs but theyre a lot easier than Elma's clones. Elmda Redux is the hardest challenge fight in the game so most probably wont be able to unlock her for a while. unfortunately, i dont really know what to suggest for tackling elmda redux, i ended spamming AOE specials with kos mos to beat her and many struggle to spawn kos mos. and even then it was very dangerous battle overall, shes incredibly spammy and OP so all i can say is good luck, sorry guys =(
