Gen 6 You Can Get All the Fossils In X/Y

Recently I was searching around that Gemstone cave breaking rocks with rock smash. Then I started getting all these fossils randomly. I restored them and I got the fossil Pokemon from the other gens. This is good for collection/the pokedex. Did you know about this?

Yes when you break the rock or something you will get the fossils but I find it pretty annoying to go into that glittering cave :)

you're able to get just about all of them but I think there may be some version exclusive fossils (like Y gets Gen 1 while X gets Gen 3)

can't edit the post, but just want to point out that I believe Aerodactyl is available in both versions, by Gen 1 fossils in Y I meant Omanyte and Kabuto
 
Now finding a pokemon that only exist after we extracted it from.fossil is so easy.. Not only we can get pokemon fossil from gen 1 but from all gen until 6.. All thise fossil is obtainable in glittering cave.. I most likely getting too many root fossil hope getting one shiny one of those..
 
Yes. How else would I be able to get all the Pokemon in the Pokedex? Some pretty deadly Pokemon can be found using Rock Smash ;) (not talking about Nosepass either).
 
Thanks, didn't know as I never use Rock Smash, will get on it now
 
I think it's the only way to get Aerodactyl, which is odd considering it even has its own Mega form
