The Hero in Green
Towns Folk
Well, I liked Brain Age, Lego Harry Potter, and NSMB.

I really did like many many games on the DS :p from different genres and varieties, I can possibly list a whole bunch but there were a few I really liked above them all:
  • Pkmn Platinum and White version, PMD: EoS, and some other spin-offs like Pkmn Ranger were really fun too ^^
  • Mario Kart DS
  • Lost Magic ( and other games)- possibly a game nobody knows about but I really liked how it was fun :p
  • Bleach: Dark Souls - It was kinda like a SSB game but more different with the interface and mechanics. I liked playing it with my friends at school. (It was also cool in the term that DS Download Play would include all the characters instead of limitations)
  • Apollo Justice Ace Attorney
  • Kirby: Squeak Squad/ Super Star Ultra
  • LoZ: Spirit Tracks ( there was this odd reason whereby I couldn't figure out the puzzles from Phantom Hourglass but I can solve all the puzzles in this game, which is harder in most points >.>)
I may have forgotten some games but that basically sums it up :p I remember a funny moment where I tried playing FE: Shadow Dragon but then I really hated it xD and my friend was all like "but this is an awesome series!" Yeah, I was never really knowledgeable about the FE series at those times :giggle:

My DS Lite was the second video game thing I ever had. It was amazing. One of the main reasons it was so cool was because me and all my friends could play Mario Kart together. We would all gather around at lunch and beat parts of our snacks on who we thought would win, man those were the days. I also really loved Super Mario 64 DS. It was one of the Games I played the most. I played it so much I 100%-ed it will all 150 stars and stuff. I never had any of the pokemon games however, I wasn't in to the games yet.

Pokemon Diamond and Cooking Mama before I lost it. It was my older sister's game she got so upset with me, but I was upset since Cooking Mama was in my DS Lite when I lost it.

My favorite DS game is 999.

NSMB is a great DS game to start with (for younger kids of course but also for the population of new gamers) but I personally enjoyed M&L: PiT because it's an extremely long game with an excellent difficulty curve and great rare dropouts from endgame enemies (like Mother 3) and it was unique in that regard at the time. I think the game has aged well if it's even aged at all. Then again you may favor Bowser's Inside Story but I don't know enough about the games to compare them but it does look a lot like Dream Team in a sense.

It is tough to decide upon a favorite once you played a number of them(also because the DS has one of the best,if not,the best game line-up available),so I'll just go ahead with some of my favorites:

  • Mario Kart DS
  • Pokemon White Version
  • Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story
  • Sonic Rush
  • Professor Layton and the Pandora's Box
  • Hotel Dusk Room 215
  • Professor Layton and the Unwound Future
  • Super Mario 64 DS
Some of these games are also some of my favorite games in general,by the way. :D

Here're my faves:

- Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier/Exceed
= A good, oft overlooked JRPG not only in regards to the DS but in General. Best described in my opinion as "Project X Zone, but better in nearly every conceivable way". It sequel, SRTOGSEF Exceed (obscenely long acronym) was released exclusively in Japan, a crime considering the installment's improvents over the first. The first game alone has given me 100+ hrs of play.

- 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors
= A semi-obscure title whose story's intricacies are matched only by that of its puzzles. I cannot describe why this game is good well enough to try.

- Megaman ZX/Advent
= A sort of spin-off series of the Megaman Zero series, arguably a spin-off in its own right, with creative level design and new concepts added in to spice up the megaman formula.

- Phantom Detective
= Real time interactive puzzle solving akin to "Haunt the House" or "Haunting Starring Polterguy" paired with an interesting story make this game stick out amongst the slew of DS puzzle solvers.

- Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth/2
= Edging out the main series games is the spin-off game series starring Miles Edgeworth himself. This series is another overlooked DS treasure chest. The game's individual episodes play out like murder mysteries, with each bringing new twists and turns for you to navigate through using "logic". Again, the sequel being left to Japan truly seems like a crime.

-Elite Beat Agents
= Finally, with a premise so goofy I couldn't understand this game until days of playing, this rhythm tapping game was based off of the "Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!" has some of the best beat maps I've seen in a game of its genre to date. With multiple difficulties and a ranking system, I couldn't put this game down.

Ai, a bit rambly...
Guess I'd better hide that in a spoiler...

1. Pokémon Explorer of Time

I loved the whole become a Pokémon and play as the Pokémon concept. It was so much fun and I remember getting super angry whenever Skuntank and his goons messed with me and my partner, or feeling nervous when Chatot said we might not get to go on the exploration and then feeling overwhelmed with joy when we got picked (though everyone went).

I never felt so involved in a game before.

2. Explorers of Sky (Pokémon)

Same concept as above but I loved the other stories and helping Shaymin as well and all the new features.

3. Cooking Mama

I loved cooking and arranging the plates though Mama got mad at me many times

4. Brain Age

Though I felt so stupid while I played it because I couldn't think fast or would get the answers :cry:wrong, but I still had fun.

5. Professor Layton

I loved that it was anime-ish and the artwork was amazing I loved solving puzzles and hearing Layton say "This reminds me of a puzzle!" (Everything reminded him of a puzzle).

6. Nintendogs

It was so much easier to play back then and easy to earn money not to mention compared to the other pet games the graphics were amazing! I used to play it all the time till I got a real dog.

Tamagotchi Cornor shop

This, was fun I loved working with Kuchipatchi and helping him with the many games not to mention I didn't have to worry about caring for him every five seconds ;)

Here are some of my favorite DS games:
.New Super Mario Bros., this game is what got me into the DS, not to mention it was my first DS game.
.LoZ: Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass, these games had some creative puzzles and boss battles. Spirit Tracks had good music while Phantom Hourglass had some puzzles that took me a long time to solve.... I really don't want to say how long.
.Pokemon Diamond, my favorite region was in this game.
.Pokemon Mytsery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness, man, this game was good, for me.

Super Mario 64 DS, The Legend Of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and Scribblenauts were my favorite DS games, Spirit Tracks mostly than the others. That Zelda game was the only game in the franchise I ever put my time into beating while having fun, although in the long run, it was very difficult.
