Just like the title asks: What's YOUR Personal Top Wii Games?

Super-Smash-Bros.-Brawl-%C2%A310-@-EBuyer-Wii-Games-photo.jpg

I'll start with my Top 10:
  • 1. Super Smash Bros. Brawl
  • 2. Super Mario Galaxy
  • 3. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
  • 4. Mario Kart Wii
  • 5. Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
  • 6. Super Mario Galaxy 2
  • 7. Super Paper Mario
  • 8. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
  • 9. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
  • 10. Kirby's Epic Yarn
I didn't want to add games that I haven't played. Sadly, Xenoblade Chronicles falls in my to-play list. Let me know what's your top Wii games are, and what do you think of my list?

My Top 10:
1) Mario Kart Wii
2) Super Mario Galaxy 2
3) Super Smash Bros. Brawl
4) The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
5) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
6) Super Mario Galaxy 1
7) Wii Sports
8) Super Paper Mario
9) Donkey Kong Country Returns
10) Metroid Prime 3: Corruption

Ok, here's mine, only games that I have played are in my top 10:
1) Super Smash Bros. Brawl
2) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (because it's a masterpiece, sad that my brother broke my Nunchuk, can't play it anymore)
3) Monster Hunter 3 (Dat graphics for a Wii game! And also, the game was entertaining, never got bored on it)
4) Super Mario Galaxy (1/2, because both are at the same place for me)
5) Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (got the luck to play it, and the series is still as great as ever)
6) Cave Story (WiiWare)
7) Wario Ware: Smooth Moves (because it's fun
8) Wii Party (Like Mario Party, but it depends way less on luck, so that's a party game I can enjoy!)
9) Mario Kart Wii (I like it, but who thought that getting hit by a blue shell every three seconds is fun? Not me!)
10) Mario Party 8/9 (though I hate the fact that it rests too much on luck, some of the mini-games are fun, also, MP9 has some trouble with the sensor for me)

Well, though I might be giving the feeling that I hate MK Wii and MP 8/9, I enjoy them, but it's just that sometimes, they can kill the fun in a fraction of seconds, resulting with me getting frustrated or really annoyed.

Also, note that I can't list every game that I have played and that I like.

now, lets see here;

1. Super Mario Galaxy
2. Mario Kart Wii
3. SSBB
4. New Super Mario Bros. Wii
5. Super Mario Galaxy 2
6. Mario Party 8
7. Mario Strikers charged football
8. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

can't think of any more, but there ya have it. ;)

9) Mario Kart Wii (I like it, but who thought that getting hit by a blue shell every three seconds is fun? Not me!)
I hated the blue shells as well. I just got used to them.

I hated the blue shells as well. I just got used to them.

Well, the blue shells are just an example. Basically, I always get hit by red/blue shells, and people who find that fun to hit you while they are invincible (due to the star) online.

> So, I couldn't adapt to that Mario Kart, and I got bored of it progressively. The only times I still play is for my brother, and I disable all the items, or I reduce the frequency of these items, so it becomes funnier.

But I still love Mario Kart DD (GameCube) and Mario Kart DS. That's why I'm still waiting to buy myself a GameCube controller.

In no particular order (numbered for my own convenience):

1. Super Smash Bros. Brawl
It's Smash Bros.

2. Rhythm Heaven Fever / Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise
Wario Ware meets rhythm games. My favourite game in my favourite rhythm game series. Try it out if you haven't!

3. Donkey Kong Country Returns
Best 2D platformer on Wii.

4. Super Mario Galaxy 2
Best 3D platformer on Wii. Basically the same as 1, just with even more of everything, especially challenge.

5. No More Heroes 2
Insanity and over-the-top violence. More streamlined than the first game.

6. Punch-Out!!
I love the Punch-Out series, and this game is no exception. It's cool that all the characters speak their native languages.

7. New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Pretty basic when playing alone, but awesome with friends.

8. Mario Kart Wii
Double Dash is more interesting, especially now that there's no (official) online play, but it's still a lot of fun.

9. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
If Nintendo manages to make the motion controls work more reliably, I won't mind if they make all home console Zeldas like this. ^^

10. Rayman Origins
Better than NSMBW alone AND with friends. I also really love the fluidity of the movement once you learn all the abilities and how to use them. Some cheap deaths here and there, though.

In no particular order:
  • Wario Land Shake It!- Get it! Like WL4 but with Wii graphics and new skills.
  • Any Kirby game for the Wii
  • Super Smash Bros. Brawl- It's still good if you don't mind the 1000 wasted frames of lag and want to play Subspace Emissary
  • Donkey Kong Country Returns- For those who like DKC but not the water levels
  • A Super Mario Galaxy title- You can't go wrong with 3D platforming this innovative
  • Mario Kart Wii- Mario Kart, but with motion controls, a huge roster of awesome playable characters, and it's on the Wii
  • Super Paper Mario- a fun not RPG Paper platformer
  • Wii Sports Resort- a great party game and has good use of motion controls

My top 10 Wii games are (not in order) :
Mario Kart Wii- It had some nice features and somewhat used the motion controls to it's advantage.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl- It's Smash Bros so...
Super Mario Galaxy 2- Good game
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess- One of my favorite Zelda games.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii- A nice platformer that has high praises
Mario Strikers Charged- A cool spin off.
And this is where I would end my list. I haven't played too many Wii games.

I haven't played that many Wii games, so I'll only list my top 5.

1: Xenoblade Chronicles - An amazing game which manages to be more than a standard JRPG. I love the story, the characters, soundtrack, scenery, voice acting and freedom in exploration. While it's not without issues, I don't think I'll ever enjoy playing another game as much as I did this one. I put over 200 hours into my first playthrough for a reason.

2: The Last Story - Another amazing RPG which manages to be more than the average JRPG. The story doesn't seem special but I love how it's handled, the characters are few but great, the gameplay is especially good for a japanese game (I love how it focuses on what you do in combat rather than your stats or equipment), good but colourless graphics, amazing voice acting, and overall stands out among other games from its time. I have several complaints about the game, but the good things outnumber the bad.

3: Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Some people call it the best 3D platformer of all time. I agree. Though I should probably play the first Galaxy game to be able to judge more fairly.

4: Kirby's Epic Yarn - It's unique and feels good to play, just how I want Kirby games to be. It's neither challenging or very exciting, but I don't need action all the time to be able to enjoy a game.

5: Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn - I have so many complains about this game I could go on for hours, but despite all that I do enjoy playing the game. Even though I tend to skip all cutscenes outside of Part 2. So, I enjoy the gameplay and Part 2.

Honorable mentions to Kirby's Adventure Wii/Return to Dream Land and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

3: Wii Sports Resort - Improved and more fun version of Wii sports.
4: Wii Music - Music simulation
5: Kirby's Epic Yarn - Adventure with Prince Fluff in yarn world.
6: SSBB - Smash

I haven't played much games
1. Super Mario Galaxy
2. Super Paper Mario
3. Super Smash Brothers Brawl
4. No More Heroes
5. Okami
I haven't played the Wii since the of 2008 save for at a friends house. I sold mine, I never played with it. Don't regret it either, the only games that have come out since that I actually wanted to play were Super Mario Galaxy 2, Kirby's Epic Yarn and No More Heroes 2.
