Your thoughts of Fairune series?

Welcome to Fairune, the land of adventure where a girl are chosen as a warrior by a book called Ancient Codex. In there, she have to utilize items, solve puzzles and take on monsters by simply rushing into them in order to rescue the 3 fairies which has gone missing, while saving the Fairune land from a certain threat at the same time.

Fairune spawns 2 games, with the sequel that's exclusive to 3DS coming not quite long ago in Nintendo eShop. If you played it, what's your opinion on these two games? Do you ever get stuck at some point, or did you enjoy this simplistic game?

I've only played the first one on 3DS, I liked it but I think an Ys-like collision system (i.e. you get hurt only when you attack your enemies head on) would be better, surely there are the healing herbs, but it would make the game more dynamic; but it was still a fun - albeit short - experience.
For the second one, I'll wait till I'll have played it before expressing an opinion.
