Whether it's the Gorons shouting for help off Allah or the prayer is just a coincidence, i'm sure every Zelda fan will find this interesting. Nintendo had to change the chant in the fire temple, in Ocarina of Time, because it may offend people. They didn't have any complaints, just didn't want any starting as they wasn't sure what the sound sample was from. So I put this to the test and decided to give my old cartridge a blow and see what the original theme/chant was for real. I was surprised ...

 
wow, this is intriguing. I had no idea that was implemented in a Zelda game. That's so weird? o_O

why did they even include things that are culture related in the first place? surely they knew there would be issues.

Nintendo used a free voice sample from a library open to all developers for free! They just thought the chants sounded cool, but as the game was released in America people started to notice and Nintendo America ordered Japan to change it!
