Ok... so I'm gonna rant about something that you really don't have to read. Sadly a ton of people seem to believe that the train in spirit tracks is out of place in a zelda game but are fine with the steamboat in Phantom Hourglass. First off, Steam trains came before Steam boats. Secondly, why are people complaining about it to this day? Have you not seen the hookshot? Does anyone not think that the hookshot is weird for the "time" zelda takes place? How in the world do you look at a hookshot and be like oh look, a chain that's impossible irl, then look at a train and say "oh that doesn't belong in the zelda atmosphere, that steam boat is FINE though."

I just don't understand people....

Yeah some people complain too much i saw some people complaining about the fact u cant be a female in triforce heroes i mean WUT?! u cant play as female in any zelda game excluding hyrule warriors and parts of games where u control females for short periods of time people are just kinda weird and get around complaining about everything they see

I never felt ever that the train concept in Spirit Tracks was something 'Out of Place' for a Zelda game. More less in fact I actually liked it and anyone who actually did play the game would probably say so too. It just seems like a far-fetched concept to those who complain about it >.<)/

Spirit Tracks is one of the best and challenging Zelda games that I've played :p

@Bearidan i missed spirit tracks and i am trying to get it but i cant find it was the only zelda game out i havent played yet but if its a sequel to Phantom Hourglass i imagine it being good because i liked phantom hourglass but i didntlike the controls changing in DS games that much but they still are preety good

Well, the steam boat is still very boat-like, and the Hookshot just feels a lot like a Zelda item. The Train just feels like something that doesn't belong in a Zelda game to me. But I don't think it ruined to atmosphere. The only problem with the atmosphere is that Link didn't just walk to the Tower of Spirits when they didn't have a train. Like... C'mon.

Once again, I was just ranting. A ton of people got upset over the Train suprisingly. I never could get into PH tho I 100%ed Wind Waker. I loved Spirit tracks immensely though.

I thought that the Steam Train was pretty original. It was definitely fun to use it when going to different locations, and it isn't just a gimmick or a way of transportation, it actually plays an important role in the game. The only problem is trying to take people from one place to another. One hit can make them yell at you, but it was still fun.
