Getting The Right Element Skill on Powerful Demons in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse

Getting powerful demons isn’t that difficult in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse. All you have to do is unlock your demon’s skills and save them to the Demon Compendium before fusing them into more powerful demons. The old data can still be used by paying Macca.

This guide shows you a simple trick to getting powerful demons with the right element skill to defeat specific bosses in the game with specific weaknesses.

Trick to getting powerful demons with the right element skills :

1. Press “Y” to open up the menu.
2. Select Mido -> Book -> Overwrite (to save demons in the Compendium).
3. Go back to the main menu of Mido and select Fusion, followed by Search.
4. Mark Demons to Include and select the demon with the element skill you want.
5. Expand the options to find the Additional Options header and mark Include Compendium.
6. Press “Y” to run the search and choose the powerful demon you want.

This method requires you to stock up on a lot of Macca so you can afford to summon old demons from the Compendium to fuse into better demons.

The more you group together good element skills in one specific demon, that demon can be used to pass down those skills every time in the future to more powerful demons when fusing.
