The Happy Mask Salesman was a mysterious and interesting character in The Legend Of Zelda: Majoras Mask, and we might see him again in a New Zelda title.
Miiverse, a social Nintendo community, had a “Miiting” with the salesman. The Miiting was an interview where they posed questions directly to the developers. The Happy Mask Salesman answered a lot of interesting questions about the origin of Majora`s name, and the lunar children, but the most interesting answer must have been this:
“My, my… I’ve certainly been appearing all over the place these past few days! If this keeps going, maybe it wouldn’t be a stretch to expect me to pop up in a new Zelda game, too…? Ho, ho, ho… I’ve got some new masks, too, if you’d like to try them on… If I do make an appearance, I’m sure everyone will experience such happiness! Believe in your strengths… Believe… Ho, ho, ho…”
As you can see, the salesman teased an appearance in a new Zelda title. And who knows? Maybe we will see him the new Zelda game that is coming to the Wii U. Personally, I hope we get to see both him and the mask system in the title.
