Medusa makes a return in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse and she’s a level 33 demon of the femme race. This guide shows you some tips to prevent yourself from turning into one of her statuses and to defeat her instead.
How To Beat Medusa in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse
Medusa is weak against force skills, therefore it is recommended to stack up on demons with them to get the advantage in battle. Avoid using electric skills on her at all costs because she blocks them. In addition, she also has resistances to dark and gun skills.
She uses gun and electric skills so make sure you either have resistance to them and not let her exploit anyone in your party’s weakness.
After damaging her a bit, she will ask you to betray your friends and you’ll have three options to choose from :
- Refuse (assist gauge increases)
- Agree (might decrease assist guage)
- Ignore her (might do nothing)
After dealing more damage to her, she will tell you that she gives up and how she will not turn you or your teammates into statues. Then she will insist that you look into her eyes, giving you one of the following options :
- Glare at her (might increase her attack)
- Glance at her sideways (decreases her defense)
- Ignore her and attack (does nothing)
Once you make your decision on what to choose, keep hitting her with force skills and her body will eventually crumble again and you will be able to move on with the main quest/story.
