How to erase your Pokémon X or Y SaveData

A lot of you may want to know how to delete your save data in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. There are a lot of reasons for doing it, especially after experiencing the ‘Lumiose City SaveData Bug’ which affected European and Japanese region 3DS consoles.

How to erase your Pokémon X or Y SaveData:

  1. Start the game
  2. Make sure you’re in the main title screen.
  3. Press Up + X + B at the same time.
  4. Now the game will ask you if you want to delete your save. Select “YES”.
  5. Done.

Now you can start your adventure again! 😀
