Kitaria Fables fails to teach you the controls to grow crops in the game. If you have no idea where to start with this, this guide will teach you how to get the farming tools and grow crops in the Nintendo Switch version of Kitaria Fables.
Get Your Farming Tools
There should be a locked chest on your farm. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to open it when beginning the game. You’ll have to clear the first dungeon to gain access to it. No key is required to do so. Just proceed with the story quests and eventually, you’ll learn about this dungeon. Clear it with sword in hand and return to your farm. You may need to talk to Kiki and get the ‘harvesting carrots’ quest before doing so.
Use The Hoe
Another issue you may have on the Nintendo Switch is equipping these farming tools. The game won’t teach you how to do so. Open your inventory by pressing the [-] button and drag the hoe to replace your Sword (or any other item you’ve equipped). Go to your farm field and use the hoe. Equip your seeds in the same manner as you did with the hoe and plant them.
Water The Seeds
When your seeds are in the ground, you’ll also need to water them. Equip your watering can and interact with the well. You should have water in the watering can now. Go back to the seeds you’ve planted and interact with them while the watering can is equipped. Each day, water these seeds and wait for the suggested time to pass. Then you’ll be able to harvest the crops.
