Karous -The Beast of Re:Eden- is Flying to the West

Nintendo 3DS players in the West will surely meet another shmup game, thanks to Circle Entertainment. Once a Dreamcast game by Milestone, the game was ported into Nintendo 3DS in Japan back then in January 2014 as a physical release.

Milestone itself closed after the president was arrested, but fortunately the game is still alive in Klon’s hand, the publisher of the Nintendo 3DS port. And now Circle Entertainment is bringing Karous to the West. North America will get the game on April 30th for $6.99, while European version release is still unknown.

This 3D vertical shoot ‘em up game tells us about two sisters who escape their fate as research subjects, fighting to survive using aircrafts of war. Customisation is granted as you can use shields, different kind of shots, bombs, even swords. Those weapons can be upgraded, and many more will be unlocked as you progress through the game.

Karous -The Beast of Re:Eden- features over 100 missions to finish, with achievement system and bosses to overcome. While other traditional shmup games are linear in story, Karous offers you freedom to choose multiple, branching paths, which can lead to different endings. This surely sounds interesting, doesn’t it?
