Nintendo announced that the Nintendo Wii U game, Mario Kart 8, sold in its first month a total of 2,8 million of units, being 590.000 units sold only in Japan.
This means Mario Kart 8 is third best selling game for the console, being the first two New Super Mario Bros. U with 4,16 million units and Nintendo Land with 3,06 million.
