The new 3DS and the new 3DS XL will have exclusive games, both retail and eShop, where one of the confirmed games will be Xenoblade Chronicles 3D (a port of the Wii version of the game). The only bad news is that it wouldn’t be able to run on the normal 3DS and 3DS XL systems.
While a lot of fans are angry about this, they should consider that the new 3DS models feature more power when older models are unable to run the game or might cause problems. Last but not least, this mid-gen upgrade is to make the 3DS line-up longevity longer.
