Yesterday, Nintendo rolled out fireware version 8.1.0-19U for the Nintendo 3DS. As usual, the update promises improvements to overall system stability and minor adjustments to enhance the user’s experience on the Nintendo 3DS. Before you can use online services such as the Nintendo eShop, you will be required to update your 3DS’s firmware.
I recommend to upgrade your system’s firmware right away the next time you use your 3DS.
