The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth was a game developed for the Nintendo 3DS eShop, but after Nintendo rejected the game due some content of the game, the project was ported for the PlayStation 4/Vita and PC, keeping the native resolution of the 3DS.
But there’s a big tease in the last tumbrl article from Tyrone Rodriguez, the developer and publisher that’s working in the game with its creator Edmund McMillen.
At the end of the article, there’s a random link to a video in the characters, “3”, “D” and “S”, forming the word 3DS… and that’s the Nintendo handheld console! Now look at the video, where it’s unlisted:

The video gives two extra hints, first the video has the 3D effect enabled and second, it says Gex Remake. Gex was a game released in 1994 for the 3DO system, yeah, we have another 3D hint.
Considering Nintendo changed a lot since the game was rejected, being a lot more open with indie developers and accepting a bigger variety of games, and also aiming to all types of public including 2nd party exclusive games like Bayonetta 2 and Devil Third, there’s a chance that Nintendo now accepted the game.
