Shin Megami Tensei IV is now available in North America, and the game already has three downloadable content packs (DLC). These DLC are additional quests for the game that rewards the player with goodies such as items.
List of the three DLC that are available at launch for Shin Megami Tensei IV
- Visage Pack (free) – 3 delivery challenge quests that can be accepted early in the game. Each quest rewards the player with an add-on-exclusive head look.
- White Samurai Apparel (free for a limited time) – 3 delivery challenge quests that can be accepted early in the game. Each quest rewards the player with an armor piece of the add-on-exclusive White Samurai set.
- Experience of the Afterlife (costs $1.99) – an add-on-exclusive challenge quest that lets you collect an item that gives the protagonist and his demons bonus experience. It’s also possible to unlock Fairy Oread for demon fusion.
How to download Shin Megami Tensei IV DLC?
- Turn on the 3DS and launch the game.
- Select Add-on Content from the main menu.
- Let the 3DS connect to the Internet, then select Next on the bottom screen.
- Select the DLC and tap Buy to purchase and download it (some DLC are free).
Note: Some content can only be played after progressing through certain parts of the game’s main story. Therefore, it’s important to review the description of each DLC before downloading or purchasing it.
