Two New Etrian Oddysey Games Confirmed

Published on November 25th, 2014 by Eric Weichhart

Even when Persona Q has just been released and Etrian Odyssey II Untold: The Knight of the Fafnir is in the makes, it looks like Atlus have a lot of love for the Etrian Oddysey series and gameplay, where they confirmed two new games in Japan.

The first one is Etrian Oddysey V which comes directly from Atlus while the other which is in collaboration with Spike Chunsoft is Etrian Odyssey X Mystery Dungeon. If you don’t know about the Mystery Dungeon series, it’s a  cross-over spin-off you should know already: Pokémon Mystery Dungeon.

When or for what platform it will be available for is still a mystery, but both series are popular for being released on Nintendo systems, likely for 3DS or the New 3DS. Since Mystery Dungeon was also released for home consoles, there is a chance the crossover can be released on the Wii U instead. Since it was recently announced, there is no way to know if both games will be localized for the moment.

You can see the teaser trailer for both games below:
