Use Nintendo Costumes in Monster Hunter 4

UPDATE: In the original note I had only covered the fragment related to Zelda, but since then I have found the complete video and expanded the article.

Less than 24 hours ago there was a Japanese Nintendo Direct dedicated to Monster Hunter 4 for the 3DS, which is scheduled to be released on Japan on September 14th, 2013.

From the start of the video it revealed a big surprise: Regarding to costumes and a few Items, there will be a some of them available that are inspired on Nintendo’s franchises. Apparently they will be available as DLC.

Super Mario: The first reveal was Mario and Luigi costumes for the small, blue eyed felynes and the mushroom, including the effect of increasing its eater size.

The Legend of Zelda: There is a costume based on Link from the Wii game, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The costume is so detailed that it even includes Link’s wig and a few of his items. We can clearly see the Master Sword and the bow.

There was a lot more discussed, so I am sure it is just a matter of time before we find more information available in our language. For now, watch the full video from Nintendo’s Japanese Youtube Channel:
