Youkai Watch 2 was expected for Level-5 to sell a lot, and it looks like they were right, that’s because they got 814,000 pre-orders of the game (from an initial value of 786,000). The bigger news for the company is the actual state of the game: sold out.
That’s right, the game sold out before the release date in the pre-ordering of the game, where retailers needed to close reservations for the game. Media Create already anticipates that Youkai Watch will be the first game of Japan to reach the million of copies in 2014.
