As you were aware, many games that were exclusive to Japan have been released worldwide lately. Now, you’ll be able to add Youkai Watch (a game made by Level-5 which is selling really well in Japan) to the list, because Akihiro Hino, Level-5’s CEO has announced that Youkai Watch will get a Western Release during 2015.
While no information has been given about the sequel, Youkai Watch 2 (Ganso/Honke), we can suppose that if Youkai Watch sells well in the West, the sequel will also likely get a Western release.
As a reminder, if you haven’t heard of it, Youkai Watch is a game in which you train/capture creatures from the Japanese Mythology called Youkais (pronounced “Yôkai”). The gameplay is really similar to Pokémon, and the game is very popular in Japan.
