This is a review update for the game Cubit The Hardcore Platformer Robot.
You can see the original review here.
CHANGES:
The main objective of the update were the game’s controls where a majority of people (I’m not on the list) complained about them. Considering how you only need to jump, I found this strange, however, after playing I discovered that they were right: the controls have been improved. What are the differences? The controls are more responsive (with that I mean less clumsy) and the constant jumps are easier to perform. This doesn’t sound like a big deal, but it actually makes the gameplay better.
Another thing that was fixed is the name creation where the number of characters increased from 7 to 10 and special characters are now allowed. This is great because the title now has online leadboards, including the worldwide, country and friend categories.
A new mode has been added as well, named Hardcore +, where it’s like an arcade mode somehow: with just one life, you need to collect the highest amount of points you can get and the more the distance you run, the more the points you get.
CONCLUSION:
This isn’t a huge list of changes, however, it does use the game’s potential where it adds a lot of replay value. It’s cheap and it has a good quality, therefore if you love challenges, I can’t see a reason not to get it.
