A few weeks back. I made a blog post about scrapping a personal creation of mine, who was called AntiSamster. For those of you who don’t know, AntiSamster is more like an evil twin of mine. We think alike, but he’s the more mischievous one.
Now, before I scrapped him, I had a working plan, about how he would wreak havoc on the SB, and always find a way to pin it on me. Basically, I designed him to be a jerk. In the beginning, quite a few people enjoyed having him around, seeing a different side of me. Then, I made a mistake. I started using him way too often, and didn’t care that people were annoyed. Then, I decided to take it one step further and acted like my account was hacked. It was all meant to be a harmless prank, but everyone believed me.
Once everything got cleared up, I decided that Anti had caused me nothing but trouble ever since I created him. So, to make everyone else happy, I got rid of him, and didn’t speak of him again for quite some time.
But then, about three days ago, someone (not going to name names) brought him up, and that put everyone on edge. I felt terrible that my character was the cause of everyone’s uneasiness. Later that day, I decided to ask something. I asked if they liked my character or not. The people currently in that chat at the time said that they did like the idea of an alternate Samster. However, I knew that there were a few people that might not be too pleased if I brought him back. I asked in the SB if I should bring him back, and they said that I should.
So, I decided to resurrect AntiSamster. Now, before you bring out the pitchforks, hear me out. AntiSamster isn’t the same as he was before. I’ve done some major tweaks to how he works, and his personality. He’s no longer evil, just the more mischievous and fun side of me. He will no longer repeatedly show up and annoy everyone constantly. I’ll use him in certain cases, and when certain people are chatting in the SB, to make it more enjoyable for everyone.
I’ve also designed a little bit of a backstory for him (and still tirelessly working on it!), so he’ll actually have some interesting things to say instead of having you in the dark for too long.
I just wanted to say that I know some of you are happy that’s he back, some of you might be upset, and some of you might not have known who he was or that he was even back. I’m only here to let you know that he’s back, and hopefully here to stay.
I know that in my last blog post, I said that he was never coming back. However, I feel like that’s one promise I might break, for many reasons. I hope that you’ll welcome the new AntiSamster with open arms. I spent a lot of time making him as pleasing as possible, and I hope you like him.
