Kadaj had once again bloomed into her perfect form, now known as Sephieroth. With Sephiroth still inside of her, she made way for the Shinra Munitions Depot with the next task of capturing Omega Weapon in order to make sure JENOVA's enemies would have its frightening power out of their reach. Determined to end this desperate struggle, Sephieroth kept her focus on giving JENOVA the victory she felt rightfully belonged to her. Rufus Shinra and Vincent Valentine on the other hand kept their focus on fighting Yazoo and the rest of JENOVA's Remnants as much as they could, hoping for Yuffie to reach Omega before Sephieroth so they can stop JENOVA once and for all. The war for victory on both sides of the fight was near its end.
Chapter 18: End Game& The Promise
(This section will focus on Yazoo as the speaker) While Little Sister had been away from us, we kept our focus on keeping Rufus and Vincent pinned as much as possible to keep them away from her. After going back to back for what felt like several hours, we had finally managed to make them grow noticeably tired and i saw their efforts to keep fending us off weaken before long. After one final clash, both of them stood ahead of us gasping for air. It was clear they wouldn't last much longer. Rufus spoke first and said "It's true... they just dont die...!" Vincent remained silent but was also losing his strength. After a long moment of silence, I laughed and said "See? You can fight all you want, but Mother's lifestream will continue restoring our health and power. I warned you before, but as always you two dont know your limits.... how foolish." Vincent appeared to grow firm and said "We knew you were right about that, but why would we just allow you to roam free without any action? Id expect one of JENOVA's pawns to be smarter than that.... seems i was wrong." I immediately grew furious at his remark and said "What did you just call me?! You'd better watch your mouth!" I heard Loz respond and say "Uh oh, youd better stop there, Vincent. You do not want to make Yazoo angry." Vincent didnt seem to care and said "And what happens if i do? You think i care about that?" Sulbio spoke next and said "You'll care when its too late, you dunce. Just like everyone else does." Vincent stood in silence but didn't concern himself with my brothers' warnings. Vincent spoke and said "Youre all talk... you always were. Especially you, Yazoo." Thats when i couldn't take anymore. I felt my JENOVA cells begin to multiply at a high speed. My eyes were booming with them and i felt myself float off the ground a short distance. The ground began shaking rapidly as all of this was happening. Vincent immediately got ready to attack, struggling to keep his balance. Rufus Shinra was furious and said "You idiot! Look what you just did!" Vincent replied and said "Me? Youre the encyclopedia who knows everything about them! Youre the one who should've said something. Dont blame me." Once again i heard them arguing back to back. I heard Loz laugh and say "This.... is just the beginning of fun!" Suddenly, as my power had reached its highest, i bolted black tendrils from my back as i threw my arms forward, penetrating Vincent's body with them. He suddenly stopped talking and made weird choking sounds, spewing up bits of blood with his eyes wide open. Following my attack, several flaming twisters destroyed surrounding structures, while Mother's lifeatream engulfed the entire sky. Releasing Vincent, I unleashed a powerful explosion using my charged JENOVA cells that engulfed the entire area. After i began to calm down, everything slowly came back into view, and i found myself sitting on the ravaged ground gasping for air as i tried to recover. I said as best i could "Mother.... return my strength to me... just once more..! For Little Sister.... and Big Brother!" Before i even finished, my JENOVA cells regenerated within seconds and i stood up as though completely fine and unscathed. However, i noticed the sky had suddenly grown dark in a way that gave me a bad feeling. I had also noticed that Rufus and Vincent were nowhere in sight. I thought to myself, Did they escape while i unleashed my attack instead of continuing to argue..? There was no sign of them at all; not even any remains to show theyd died. I heard Sulbio groan angrily behind me and saw him rush to where Rufus and Vincent had been before they escaped, and he said "No!! They got away..!" He turned back to me and said "We have to go after them, Yazoo. With Little Sister by herself out there and Big Brother inside of her, she's in big trouble!" I nodded in agreement and said "Youre right, Young Brother. We cant let them roam free with her out there." Suddenly, before we could get ready to give chase with our motorbikes, I saw Mother's face appear in the darkened sky. Sulbio and Loz followed my gaze. Mother said "Yazoo, don't chase Rufus and Vincent. You have to go to the Shinra Munitions Depot and help Sephieroth. She needs you right now!" I gasped and felt worry build up inside of me, then said "What if im too late..? What if i don't make it on time, Mother..?" Mother smiled and said "You wont run out of time, my Youngest Son... I can take you, Sulbio and Loz there in an instant. I'll use my powers to open a wormhole for you three to travel through. It will lead you directly to the peak of the Shinra Munitions Depot where Sephieroth is. Are you ready?" I stood in a strange emotional silence for a long while, then said "Im ready, Mother! I'll end this struggle right now!" Before long, as Mother's face vanished from the sky, i heard her giggle and saw an opening appear out of nowhere in front of us. I signalled Loz and Sulbio and led us into the wormhole Mother had opened for us. Once we entered, all i could see was blinding white light for what seemed like forever. After some time, the light slowly faded and i was finally able to make out the surroundings. I looked elsewhere, trying to find Little Sister. Before long, i locked my gaze on her and gasped at what i saw: she was lying on the ground motionless. I immediately shouted "Sister!!" as i ran to help her. Sulbio said "But.... where's Omega? Did it escape?" I shook my head and said "No, not possible. If it escaped we wouldve been dead by now--and so would everyone else." Immediately forgetting about Omega, i returned my gaze to my sister who laid motionless as though dead. I began to feel a knot in my throat, gently putting my hand on her face and said "Sephie...? N-no...." I gently nudged her with both hands, and said "Sephie, get up.... please get up...." i nudged her some more, repeating my words. I didn't want to believe she was dead; i had refused to. She didnt move at all. i felt tears flood from my eyes, gently lifting my sister in my arms and said "This cant be happening.... No..." Unable to hold in my sadness anymore, i buried my face in her body as i continued crying, feeling worse than i had in my entire life. I had barely choked out my words and said "Its over.... I-I failed... I failed to protect Little Sister..." I heard Loz and Sulbio step nearby, and felt a hand on my shoulder. I barely managed to turn and face Loz, and he said "Im sorry, Yazoo.... I tried to help too..." Sulbio stood in saddened silence for a bit and said "No... its not over!" Still crying i replied and said "What do you mean its not over? She's dead! We're too late!" I couldn't help burying my face in my fallen sister once more; i had never felt so terrible in my life. Sulbio replied and said "Her abdomen--Sephiroth was born while we were away! Did you see how she's back to her normal size?" Suddenly, my tears stopped. I lifted my face off of her, and saw what Sulbio was talking about. Carefully resting her body on the ground, i lifted one arm and gently rested my hand on her abdomen, gently pushing there. I used my JENOVA cells to determine if what he said was really true; before long i immediately knew he was right: Sephiroth was back! However, there was no sign of him anywhere nearby. I spoke next and said "Loz, go find Big Brother! I'll see what i can do here with Sulbio, hopefully find a way to revive Little Sister." Loz nodded and said "Got it. I'll be as quick as i can." As soon as he began to take off, something flew overhead at a high speed. Loz stopped short and said "Did you see something?" Sulbio got his sword out, preparing to attack as though we were being ambushed. Sulbio shouted "Show yourselves! I know youre there!" I glanced around after standing up and said "Huh? I dont see anything..." Suddenly, a voice said "Hmm, so youre the ones who planned my revival... Interesting..." Out of nowhere, I saw someone slowly land on the surface, and i gasped: it was Sephiroth! He smiled at us, then said "I can only imagine all the work you three did to do all of this.... Revive Mother, bring back her lifestream, retrieve her treasure id hidden many years ago, and even revive me.... Thats not something Mother and myself were able to do ourselves, despite our desperate efforts and struggles... Very impressive." I suddenly began feeling tears flow from my eyes, and Sephiroth took notice of it and said "What is it?" I paused and said "Its our Little Sister, Sephieroth... She's the reason we got so far--and now she's dead... Without her, very little if any of that wouldve succeeded. She was the only one out of each of us with enough JENOVA cells to do those things... and she had so many near-death experiences through all of this... and survived all of them--except this one. Sephieroth made countless sacrifices, Big Brother. Even though we can still activate the Infinite Reunion without her, it just doesn't feel the same without her alive..." Sephiroth's eyes lit up with strange emotion, and he said "So she's the one who risked her life so many times, all in Mother's beloved name and image..." I nodded and said "Yes, thats her. She may only look like a feminine copy of you, but she is way more than that when you look at her endless will to risk everything she must to free Mother of her sorrow, and bring eternal peace back to Mother's family. She knew how dangerous and risky everything she did was--but she did it all anyways and forced her fears aside. She never gave up, Big Brother... even when things got bleak at this war's end. Her life.... is worth more than anything you can imagine. Little Sister.... is a true hero to us and our beloved Mother." Sulbio stepped beside me and said "His words are true, Big Brother. I was very obnoxious and difficult, but she never got angry at me.... instead, she was playful and extremely kind, despite my thick attitude and short-temperedness. Sephieroth.... has a heart like no other. Thats why we got so far... because she was always positive and didn't give up." After a long moment of silence, Loz stepped beside us and said "Little Sister was the light of the gang... She was always extremely dependable, reliable and someone we always trusted above all others. Sephieroth is one like no other ive met in this life.... You can only imagine how much she means to all of us." I spoke next and said "If we could have her back, you have no idea how much that would mean to us..." Sephiroth wandered back and forth a bit, then said "If you three truly value her as much as you say, then she is of equal importance to me. However, since i have returned, Mother's lifestream has changed in response to that.... that is why it did not revive her the way it did you three during your scuffle with Rufus and Vincent." Still feeling sad i said "Then what are we gonna do..? If Mother learns of her death, she'll be heartbroken..." Sephiroth turned back to us and said "The only way to revive someone as powerful as her is the activation of Mother's Infinite Reunion. If we do that, she will be good as new. In addition, all those who were killed by Geostigma will be revived as you guys--more remnants. The Infinite Reunion will do that to all living humans on this planet, along with any others who were not of our kind. In other words, we win no matter what." I paused and said "Are you sure?" Sulbio spoke and said "Yazoo, i know youre focused on bringing her back.... But we have no choice but to do as Sephiroth said whether you feel it will work or not. With Rufus and Vincent out there somewhere, and Yuffie who knows where, we dont have time to question anything or argue. If we dont activate the Infinite Reunion now, we wont have another chance." I nodded then said "Ok... Big Brother, lead the way!" Sephiroth nodded and said "Alright. Lets finish this, guys. Dont let Little Sister's sacrifices be for nothing, Yazoo! Make it count!" I wiped my tears from my face, then grew firm and nodded in agreement. Sephiroth flew off the ground a bit, then said "Sulbio, the stone tablet." Sulbio got out Mother's Stone Tablet, then held it out to Sephiroth. It quickly illuminated a powerful glow that seemed a mix of green and blinding white. Sephiroth signalled us, and we each placed one hand onto Mother's treasure. Sephiroth had touched it last, merging his JENOVA cells with it. It reacted in a mysterious way, and each of us had been lifted off the ground by an unseen source that was most likely the magic of Mother's treasure. Sephiroth flew straight towards Mother's lifestream, and we were floating behind him at the same pace, not letting go of Mother's stone tablet. We kept going until we were deep inside Mother's Lifestream, the planet below us all. Sephiroth stopped first, flying in place as we remained in the air in front of him. I spoke next and said "Now what do we do..?" Sephiroth replied and said "All thats left is the activation command. Say that correctly, and thats it." I grew shocked and said "The activation command..?! But i don't know it!" Sulbio grumbled but didn't sound as infuriated as usual, but rather exasperated. Sephiroth laughed and smiled in a very familiar way, then said "You dont have to; i remember it perfectly. It was one of the first things Mother taught me in my life in SOLDIER. As you can probably guess, it was kept secret even among her own. If Shinra Company knew about it, they could easily decode it and recite it backwards which would mean all of us--Mother and myself included--would be completely removed from existence. Reciting it backwards is known as the Destroyed Reunion, which would mean we wouldn't even be in the lifestream had such a thing been done--we would be nothing." Sulbio spoke next and said "Then just spit it out!!" Sephiroth seemed angry at Sulbio's attitude, but didn't say anything. Sephiroth quickly moved on though, placing his hand on Mother's treaaure. He gently closed his eyes, and fired up his JENOVA cells; he began speaking in a language i had never heard before, as though he was reciting something important in a respectful way. As he continued speaking the mysterious language, his entire being glowed with Mother's cells, and Mother's treasure reacted quickly, glowing a blinding white light that grew stronger as Sephiroth continued. When he had finally stopped speaking the strange language, he made a brief pause and said "So make this the end which Mother hast desired for the years before and thereafter... Infinite Reunion." Then the white light dimmed a bit, but it didn't last; Mother's treasure floated slightly above us all, Sephiroth holding his arms out at his sides with his eyes calmly shut--and a blinding light was all i could see now. I heard a deafening and mysterious alien cry that sounded beautiful despite being unable to hear or see anything else. I immediately knew that was Mother's cry id heard and said "Mother!!" But something kept me from moving despite my concern of her being in danger; something kept telling me in my mind that everything was ok and Mother was safe. all i could see was white; all i could hear was Mother's mysterious cries. I was very confused all of a sudden; i didn't know what to think or do anymore. Just before i blacked out, i said in a soft voice "Am i.... dead..?" Then i just went unconscious.
Sometime later, seemingly several days...
I heard someone shake me and say "Come on, Big Brother Yazoo... Youre not going out on me, are you?" I heard a woman's laugh following that, and i slowly opened my eyes, and found myself looking at someone i didnt recognize, but i knew she was part of Mother's family since her hair was silver and her eyes green like mine. Her hair was also long and very smooth looking. I then paused and said "Who are you..? And... where am i?" She smiled and said "Dont you remember me, silly? Im Tifa!" Immediately gaining a burst of energy, i quickly sat up and said "Youre Tifa..?! Where's Rufus and Vincent?!!" Tifa smiled and pointed to her side, and i followed her gaze and found myself looking at two familiar faces. They had the same features as us: silver hair and green eyes exactly like ours. I quickly got to my feet, and carefully approached them. I stopped after a couple steps and said "Please tell me this is real... that im not dreaming...!" Rufus laughed and said "Ok, no problem." He walked towards me and slapped my face. I shouted "Ow! What was that for?!" Rufus laughed and said "You asked us to tell you this is all real, so i just did!" My rage quickly vanished, and i smiled in silence. Vincent also approached me and said "We know what you want, so we stopped by hoping youd finally wake up... and it looks like you actually did." He laughed and i paused in silence, trying to remember what happened before i blacked out. The first thing that hit me was that day when Little Sister died after Sephiroth's rebirth. Quickly reacting, i said "Little Sister! Where is she?!" Rufus smiled and said "We have her, thats why we're here. She's resting at my HQ which is now named JENOVA Research Facility. If you want to see her, we'll lead the way, Yazoo." I nodded excitedly, and they lead the way with me behind them.
Several hours later....
Once we finally arrived at the building, Rufus turned around to face me and said "She's in the room at the top floor, you can climb the stairs or use the elevator." My excitement getting the best of me, i immediately raced towards and up the stairs until i came to an end on what was the top level of the building; never looking behind me or anywhere else; focusing on going straight. When i reached the top, i went through the first door i saw without hesitation. I couldn't believe my eyes when i was inside: Sephieroth was lying on a bed directly across me. I felt tears well up in my eyes as i slowly approached her. She moaned softly and rolled over, opening her eyes and smiling once she saw me. I stood in emotional silence, then said "Sephieroth.... Youre back..!" She smiled at me and giggled, then said "Im here, Brother Yazoo.... and here to stay. We are free... at last!" She quickly got up and laughed as she ran towards me, leaping towards me as i held her against me. I continued hugging her and said "Im so glad youre ok.... I didn't want to lose you... that was my biggest fear through all of that work..." She got off of me, then smiled at me and said "I was scared too, Yazoo. I knew how dangerous risky the mission was with every task and move we had to make. But its over now. Mother is free, and she has the planet back at last... Thats all i wanted, to make Mother happy so she doesn't have to suffer anymore... and now i did, thanks to you and Loz, Sulbio.... and even Big Brother Sephiroth. No more fighting ever again, no more suffering or pain of any kind.... because you overcame your fears, Yazoo. You knew i was dead on that tower, but you cooperated with Sephiroth even so.... and thanks to that, the Infinite Reunion succeeded. Thank you, Yazoo.... for being the leader during my delayed death, and having faith in Sephiroth and my gang when i wasnt there brighten you all up. By doing all of that, you didn't just save me; you saved everyone. Thank you, Yazoo.... for everything." Then she gave me a gentle hug, and i felt her tears on my shoulder. I smiled, and put my arms around her as well. Suddenly, i heard Mother speak to me telepathically, and she said "Well done, my son..." I heard her giggle, and sensed her presence behind me. I felt Mother's hands on my shoulders, and Sephieroth let go of me as i turned around to face Mother who was smiling at me. I smiled back at her, and gave her a hug, then said "Mother.... it's over... we did it!" Mother smiled and said "We did, my son. The Infinite Reunion succeeded. All on this planet are my children, and fighting has come to a standstill as a result of all of this. Eternal peace shall begin on this planet and remain forever. However, there is quite a bit of fixing to be done. That war between us and our enemies had some damaging aftermath on the planet's landscape in certain places. Now, i leave you with one final task, my children: restore the ravaged areas with my cells inside of you guys--make the entire planet a beautiful haven for my global family. And with that... I wish you good luck on restoring my new planet, children!" Mother smiled and giggled, then i turned to Little Sister and said "You ready for that, Little Sister?" She nodded, then bolted her wing and slowly flew off the ground a bit, and shouted with pure spirit "Of course i am! Lets go, Yazoo!"

I dont see anything..." Suddenly, a voice said "Hmm, so youre the ones who planned my revival... Interesting..." Out of nowhere, I saw someone slowly land on the surface, and i gasped: it was Sephiroth! He smiled at us, then said "I can only imagine all the work you three did to do all of this.... Revive Mother, bring back her lifestream, retrieve her treasure id hidden many years ago, and even revive me.... Thats not something Mother and myself were able to do ourselves, despite our desperate efforts and struggles... Very impressive." I suddenly began feeling tears flow from my eyes, and Sephiroth took notice of it and said "What is it?" I paused and said "Its our Little Sister, Sephieroth... She's the reason we got so far--and now she's dead... Without her, very little if any of that wouldve succeeded. She was the only one out of each of us with enough JENOVA cells to do those things... and she had so many near-death experiences through all of this... and survived all of them--except this one. Sephieroth made countless sacrifices, Big Brother. Even though we can still activate the Infinite Reunion without her, it just doesn't feel the same without her alive..." Sephiroth's eyes lit up with strange emotion, and he said "So she's the one who risked her life so many times, all in Mother's beloved name and image..." I nodded and said "Yes, thats her. She may only look like a feminine copy of you, but she is way more than that when you look at her endless will to risk everything she must to free Mother of her sorrow, and bring eternal peace back to Mother's family. She knew how dangerous and risky everything she did was--but she did it all anyways and forced her fears aside. She never gave up, Big Brother... even when things got bleak at this war's end. Her life.... is worth more than anything you can imagine. Little Sister.... is a true hero to us and our beloved Mother." Sulbio stepped beside me and said "His words are true, Big Brother. I was very obnoxious and difficult, but she never got angry at me.... instead, she was playful and extremely kind, despite my thick attitude and short-temperedness. Sephieroth.... has a heart like no other. Thats why we got so far... because she was always positive and didn't give up." After a long moment of silence, Loz stepped beside us and said "Little Sister was the light of the gang... She was always extremely dependable, reliable and someone we always trusted above all others. Sephieroth is one like no other ive met in this life.... You can only imagine how much she means to all of us." I spoke next and said "If we could have her back, you have no idea how much that would mean to us..." Sephiroth wandered back and forth a bit, then said "If you three truly value her as much as you say, then she is of equal importance to me. However, since i have returned, Mother's lifestream has changed in response to that.... that is why it did not revive her the way it did you three during your scuffle with Rufus and Vincent." Still feeling sad i said "Then what are we gonna do..? If Mother learns of her death, she'll be heartbroken..." Sephiroth turned back to us and said "The only way to revive someone as powerful as her is the activation of Mother's Infinite Reunion. If we do that, she will be good as new. In addition, all those who were killed by Geostigma will be revived as you guys--more remnants. The Infinite Reunion will do that to all living humans on this planet, along with any others who were not of our kind. In other words, we win no matter what." I paused and said "Are you sure?" Sulbio spoke and said "Yazoo, i know youre focused on bringing her back.... But we have no choice but to do as Sephiroth said whether you feel it will work or not. With Rufus and Vincent out there somewhere, and Yuffie who knows where, we dont have time to question anything or argue. If we dont activate the Infinite Reunion now, we wont have another chance." I nodded then said "Ok... Big Brother, lead the way!" Sephiroth nodded and said "Alright. Lets finish this, guys. Dont let Little Sister's sacrifices be for nothing, Yazoo! Make it count!" I wiped my tears from my face, then grew firm and nodded in agreement. Sephiroth flew off the ground a bit, then said "Sulbio, the stone tablet." Sulbio got out Mother's Stone Tablet, then held it out to Sephiroth. It quickly illuminated a powerful glow that seemed a mix of green and blinding white. Sephiroth signalled us, and we each placed one hand onto Mother's treasure. Sephiroth had touched it last, merging his JENOVA cells with it. It reacted in a mysterious way, and each of us had been lifted off the ground by an unseen source that was most likely the magic of Mother's treasure. Sephiroth flew straight towards Mother's lifestream, and we were floating behind him at the same pace, not letting go of Mother's stone tablet. We kept going until we were deep inside Mother's Lifestream, the planet below us all. Sephiroth stopped first, flying in place as we remained in the air in front of him. I spoke next and said "Now what do we do..?" Sephiroth replied and said "All thats left is the activation command. Say that correctly, and thats it." I grew shocked and said "The activation command..?! But i don't know it!" Sulbio grumbled but didn't sound as infuriated as usual, but rather exasperated. Sephiroth laughed and smiled in a very familiar way, then said "You dont have to; i remember it perfectly. It was one of the first things Mother taught me in my life in SOLDIER. As you can probably guess, it was kept secret even among her own. If Shinra Company knew about it, they could easily decode it and recite it backwards which would mean all of us--Mother and myself included--would be completely removed from existence. Reciting it backwards is known as the Destroyed Reunion, which would mean we wouldn't even be in the lifestream had such a thing been done--we would be nothing." Sulbio spoke next and said "Then just spit it out!!" Sephiroth seemed angry at Sulbio's attitude, but didn't say anything. Sephiroth quickly moved on though, placing his hand on Mother's treaaure. He gently closed his eyes, and fired up his JENOVA cells; he began speaking in a language i had never heard before, as though he was reciting something important in a respectful way. As he continued speaking the mysterious language, his entire being glowed with Mother's cells, and Mother's treasure reacted quickly, glowing a blinding white light that grew stronger as Sephiroth continued. When he had finally stopped speaking the strange language, he made a brief pause and said "So make this the end which Mother hast desired for the years before and thereafter... Infinite Reunion." Then the white light dimmed a bit, but it didn't last; Mother's treasure floated slightly above us all, Sephiroth holding his arms out at his sides with his eyes calmly shut--and a blinding light was all i could see now. I heard a deafening and mysterious alien cry that sounded beautiful despite being unable to hear or see anything else. I immediately knew that was Mother's cry id heard and said "Mother!!" But something kept me from moving despite my concern of her being in danger; something kept telling me in my mind that everything was ok and Mother was safe. all i could see was white; all i could hear was Mother's mysterious cries. I was very confused all of a sudden; i didn't know what to think or do anymore. Just before i blacked out, i said in a soft voice "Am i.... dead..?" Then i just went unconscious.
Sometime later, seemingly several days...
I heard someone shake me and say "Come on, Big Brother Yazoo... Youre not going out on me, are you?" I heard a woman's laugh following that, and i slowly opened my eyes, and found myself looking at someone i didnt recognize, but i knew she was part of Mother's family since her hair was silver and her eyes green like mine. Her hair was also long and very smooth looking. I then paused and said "Who are you..? And... where am i?" She smiled and said "Dont you remember me, silly? Im Tifa!" Immediately gaining a burst of energy, i quickly sat up and said "Youre Tifa..?! Where's Rufus and Vincent?!!" Tifa smiled and pointed to her side, and i followed her gaze and found myself looking at two familiar faces. They had the same features as us: silver hair and green eyes exactly like ours. I quickly got to my feet, and carefully approached them. I stopped after a couple steps and said "Please tell me this is real... that im not dreaming...!" Rufus laughed and said "Ok, no problem." He walked towards me and slapped my face. I shouted "Ow! What was that for?!" Rufus laughed and said "You asked us to tell you this is all real, so i just did!" My rage quickly vanished, and i smiled in silence. Vincent also approached me and said "We know what you want, so we stopped by hoping youd finally wake up... and it looks like you actually did." He laughed and i paused in silence, trying to remember what happened before i blacked out. The first thing that hit me was that day when Little Sister died after Sephiroth's rebirth. Quickly reacting, i said "Little Sister! Where is she?!" Rufus smiled and said "We have her, thats why we're here. She's resting at my HQ which is now named JENOVA Research Facility. If you want to see her, we'll lead the way, Yazoo." I nodded excitedly, and they lead the way with me behind them.
Several hours later....
Once we finally arrived at the building, Rufus turned around to face me and said "She's in the room at the top floor, you can climb the stairs or use the elevator." My excitement getting the best of me, i immediately raced towards and up the stairs until i came to an end on what was the top level of the building; never looking behind me or anywhere else; focusing on going straight. When i reached the top, i went through the first door i saw without hesitation. I couldn't believe my eyes when i was inside: Sephieroth was lying on a bed directly across me. I felt tears well up in my eyes as i slowly approached her. She moaned softly and rolled over, opening her eyes and smiling once she saw me. I stood in emotional silence, then said "Sephieroth.... Youre back..!" She smiled at me and giggled, then said "Im here, Brother Yazoo.... and here to stay. We are free... at last!" She quickly got up and laughed as she ran towards me, leaping towards me as i held her against me. I continued hugging her and said "Im so glad youre ok.... I didn't want to lose you... that was my biggest fear through all of that work..." She got off of me, then smiled at me and said "I was scared too, Yazoo. I knew how dangerous risky the mission was with every task and move we had to make. But its over now. Mother is free, and she has the planet back at last... Thats all i wanted, to make Mother happy so she doesn't have to suffer anymore... and now i did, thanks to you and Loz, Sulbio.... and even Big Brother Sephiroth. No more fighting ever again, no more suffering or pain of any kind.... because you overcame your fears, Yazoo. You knew i was dead on that tower, but you cooperated with Sephiroth even so.... and thanks to that, the Infinite Reunion succeeded. Thank you, Yazoo.... for being the leader during my delayed death, and having faith in Sephiroth and my gang when i wasnt there brighten you all up. By doing all of that, you didn't just save me; you saved everyone. Thank you, Yazoo.... for everything." Then she gave me a gentle hug, and i felt her tears on my shoulder. I smiled, and put my arms around her as well. Suddenly, i heard Mother speak to me telepathically, and she said "Well done, my son..." I heard her giggle, and sensed her presence behind me. I felt Mother's hands on my shoulders, and Sephieroth let go of me as i turned around to face Mother who was smiling at me. I smiled back at her, and gave her a hug, then said "Mother.... it's over... we did it!" Mother smiled and said "We did, my son. The Infinite Reunion succeeded. All on this planet are my children, and fighting has come to a standstill as a result of all of this. Eternal peace shall begin on this planet and remain forever. However, there is quite a bit of fixing to be done. That war between us and our enemies had some damaging aftermath on the planet's landscape in certain places. Now, i leave you with one final task, my children: restore the ravaged areas with my cells inside of you guys--make the entire planet a beautiful haven for my global family. And with that... I wish you good luck on restoring my new planet, children!" Mother smiled and giggled, then i turned to Little Sister and said "You ready for that, Little Sister?" She nodded, then bolted her wing and slowly flew off the ground a bit, and shouted with pure spirit "Of course i am! Lets go, Yazoo!"
