Sephiroth and Sephieroth both took on Perfect WEAPON with pure confidence and bravery as normal. However, the fight took an unexpected turn and WEAPON had drained Sephieroth's JENOVA cells before she could do much to him. Sephiroth was furious and enraged, and lashed out against the beast on his own in an attempt to avenge what he thought was his now murdered Sister. Unable to contain his rage and power, Sephiroth miraculously entered a very dark and what seemed an evil Feral Form by appearance. Before the fight could escalate any further, he finished off the beast with what seemed like very little effort. By the time he had claimed victory for himself and his Sister, he placed the new materia that was once Perfect WEAPON into her hand before returning to his natural form and collapsing before he could do anything else. Surprised and amazed by the sudden turn of events atop JENOVA Stratos Peak, JENOVA ordered Rufus to investigate Sephiroth's transformation and the cause of Perfect WEAPON's mad and seemingly arrogant behavior. Though the fight was a success, JENOVA knew something was not right with the new WEAPON and there was still more investigating to do.
Chapter 13: SAKUI
(This section will focus on JENOVA as the speaker) Since both Sephiroth and Sephieroth were in the medical care section of JENOVA Foundation, i decided to take control of running the foundation until they both recovered. I ordered Rufus to run tests of the Golden Materia that had Perfect WEAPON sealed in it after we left the tower and took the rest of my guard to safety. Several days passed, and here i was supervising Rufus's research and experiments at HQ. Immediately taking notice of my presence, Rufus got out of his computer chair and knelt before me saying "At your service, Mother." I smiled and said "Thank you, my son. How is research coming along?" Rufus slowly stood up and replied "Its progressing fine, however i think there was some kind of disturbance atop that tower when Perfect WEAPON appeared. Whats more worrisome, what latched onto him seems exactly the same as the virus that struck Brother Vincent and caused homicidal behavior even towards his own kind." I stood in thoughtful silence, then said "Hmmm, just as i thought.... the virus even struck a being as formidable as Perfect WEAPON, then... This is not good. Only Perfect WEAPON is strong enough to destroy the enemy matter that invaded my lifestream and completely purify it. We need his power restored at all costs, my son. Without him, my kingdom could be hit by Armageddon in worst cases. If that virus completely takes over my liestream, we're all dead no matter what." Rufus nodded in understanding and replied "understood, Mother. I'll see thats done before anything gets out of control." I smiled and giggled, then said "Thats my child! How are my children doing?" Rufus smiled and answered "Theyre ok, but they need to sleep a while before setting out to focus on the next goals regarding the SAKUI mission." I smiled and said "Good, as long as they aren't seriously hurt. I suppose i will have to assemble a substitute team for the job in the meantime, then. I cant let live with that virus going around. I ask you also make haste on developing a vaccine also, make that a top priority please. I will do what i can as the Mother of this family and Planet Ruler to prevent things out of hand, but as family we must act as one to prevent that strain from becoming a rampaging plague. Keep good eyes on my lifestream and do everything you can, my son." Suddenly, the lights went out in the entire facility, and i saw a wormhole open up nearby, Young Kadaj appearing from it as it quickly closed. He quickly ran towards me, leaning against my body and panicked "Mother, help! You gotta help me!" Gently picking him up i said "Easy, my child--calm down. Whats going on? You seem to be running from something." He clinged to me as though very frightened, and pointed straight ahead as he spoke "There..! The scary man is--!" I quickly saw what he was so afraid of: a face I remembered all too well despite it being countless years stared at me from behind Rufus. I gazed in shock at my archenemy who stood before us: SAKUI. SAKUI didn't look any different than he had the last time i saw him; his hair was long and dragged on the floor, its color a mix of jet black and blood red. His eyes were a blank and deep red, his skin as white as snow. He wore a large sparkly gown of bright blue and had a black stone in the center of his forehead which also held his dark power. I didn't hesitate to warn Kadaj "You have to leave here, Kadaj! This guy is extremely dangerous!" He quickly stammered "But... but Mother! If i try to run he'll follow me!" Narrowing my eye i said "No, he wont. You open a time space and escape, i can break his path so he is forced out." Not waiting another moment, Kadaj flew out of my arms and opened a wormhole to escape. SAKUI tried to follow, but my eye flashed and i heard the sound of breaking glass as he cried out in surprise. SAKUI groaned and turned to face me. I turned to him giving an angry stare and said "Leave my children alone, you monster!" The lights suddenly came back on, and i sensed Rufus gazing in awe at both of us as we exchanged hateful glances at each other. SAKUI growled and said "JENOVA! How are you still alive?!!" I immediately answered "Why should i tell you? Furthermore, did you think i was really that stupid from the get go?" Of course, SAKUI groaned in rage. We didn't even bother exchanging anymore words; we immediately engaged in battle against each other. My cells against his: both of us were so powerful many of our attacks collided without either of us being hurt. I flew close to the ceiling on the opposite side to him, and began charging a ball in front of me with my cells that quickly became the size of a massive boulder. Of course, SAKUI charged his power into his fist to attempt a counter. I flashed my eye, and the ball went straight towards him. In the background, Rufus panicked "No, Mother! The Foundation will be--" The ball made contact with SAKUI before he could finish. The room seemed to be damaged more and more as the explosion slowly finished. However, SAKUI was still standing as i took notice to the hand he used to block my attack: though the skin wasn't damaged, there was smoke coming from it and he was gasping for air. Ready to finish him off, I warped behind him, then used my cells to form a katana and hit him as hard as possible. He was swept away, knocked to the ground as he cried out in pain. He slowly got up, but didn't move. I began to see he was weakened. Despite his critical condition, he said "Is that all you've got?!!" Though badly injured, i knew he was trying to act tough. I held one arm out, and bolted a black vein through my hand, aiming it at SAKUI. When it drew close, he charged his energy into both hands, desperately trying to break it. It did break, but recreated itself within seconds proving his efforts useless. It quickly had him completely wrapped, and i directed my cells through it into his body. He screamed in pain as my cells invaded his body and quickly became infected with severe Geostigma. My eye strong on his dying body, i said "This is the end for you, SAKUI!" Bolting another black vein from my back, i charged it directly towards him within seconds, and it went right through his body. Blood flooded out of his mouth and he was dead. Suddenly, i had a strange feeling come over me, and said "Was that really him.... or was it a fake?" I saw a large pool of blood where his body was slither underneath the veins i killed him with, and my eye widened in disbelief as the pool of blood quickly became another SAKUI: completely unscathed as though in perfect health. He snickered and said "You can fight me all you like, JENOVA. But i wont die, no matter how hard you fight or how brutal i am hit." He cackled and disappeared, no longer in sight. Returning my bolted veins, i remained in midair in complete silence. Rufus ran below me and said "Mother! Are you ok?!" Taking notice to his concern, i returned to the ground and said "Im fine, my son. But this is very bad...." Rufus quickly grew serious and asked "What happened?" I then replied "It seems SAKUI has gained some kind of immortality gene. I thought i had him dead from too much exposure to my cells, but his body became a puddle of blood that quickly recreated his entire being within seconds. He was spotless: not even a scratch." Rufus gasped and said "No way.... Are you serious, Mother?!" I sighed and felt a tear flow from my eye. Rufus knew i was serious and stood in silence; he didn't know what to do. For the first time ever, neither did i.
