After successfully saving JENBU from the verge of death, Sephiroth and his Father met up with SAKUI and Yazoo at JENOVA's throne to discuss what to do next. They each agreed it was best to have SAKUI hold position as the boss of the newly formed Cosmic Guard that would act prevent another major war by protecting the Planet from any incoming dangers. After he left to do as JENOVA said, JENBU decided to open his heart by telling JENOVA how much he loved her after revealing a mysterious emerald that appeared to hold the magic of her cells inside. Each of them agreeing to marry, JENOVA gave new orders to Sephieroth's gang and focused on making proper arrangements to celebrate.
Chapter 24: A Young Brother's Heart
(This section will focus on Loz as the speaker) I was both very bored and exhausted. Mother ordered me and Tifa to clean up her church and since it was only us doing the job, it seemed to go on forever. The mess was awfully big to be considered the area in JENOVA Kingdom that suffered the least damage from the war that had only recently ended. We finally managed to finish the job and I sat down in the black water pond without another word. Tifa followed, sitting beside me with a smile. I began "I thought that would never end. Why didn't Mother send the rest of the gang to help?" Tifa shrugged and shook her hand, then replied "I don't know, but at least all that chaos is over. This is better than worrying about the kingdom being in danger." I nodded but kept silent. She glanced at me and continued "You know, Loz.... maybe you threw a hissy fit during that fight and rambled on a bit, but you were very brave, Brother." I quickly turned my gaze to her and said "You really mean that..?" She nodded with a smile but didn't speak. I smiled back and said "Wow... thanks." She paused, then asked "Is something wrong?" I sighed, then said "Kinda, i guess... Its just that Yazoo became Family Guardian, Little Sister is Family Hero and I was a little jealous that Mother didn't choose me for something yet. I guess I'm still not ready..." Tifa rested her arm over my shoulders and said "Its ok, Loz. Just because she didn't find a perfect place for you yet doesn't mean she thinks you're worthless or doesn't love you. No matter what you choose, Mother always loves us. Dont forget that." I smiled at her and hugged her without another word. She giggled and put her arms around me too. After we let go of each other, i said "Tifa... can i ask you something?" She happily replied "Sure!" I started to feel my face fluster from embarrassment and continued "Can I um... move in with you..?" She laughed and answered "Of course you can! I need a tough partner like you, Loz." I wanted to smile but was too embarrassed; Tifa continued "Oh you poor guy, you're so flustered!" She gently rubbed my face and added "I can tell you're embarrassed, Loz. But you don't have to be." She paused, then continued "I have a feeling you just need more self-confidence, you sweet guy. You're a great man, Loz; you just need some encouragement." She smiled, and i smiled back and said "You think so..?" She nodded with a smile, then stood up and helped me to my feet. She added "Im sure of it. I'll help you out, Loz. No worries, ok?" I nodded and said "Ok... thank you, Sister." After that, we just decided to enjoy relaxing here and wait for everyone else to show up.
