Well it's been forever since I've actually made a blog post so since I've been experimenting with homebrew I thought why not make a blog?
OK so I decided to learn Lua recently since there is a 3DS Lua interpreter (+1 if you know the guy who made it) and I made a few stuff including my own custom homebrew launcher! It's pretty neat I guess. It can load your game cartridge, reboot your system, and load some homebrew currently. I'm currently writing a little menu where it shows your system details and I'm also integrating a function where it grabs your 3DS username and puts it on the homebrew menu. For example my 3DS username is Megalegacy. It will grab my username from the 3DS's NAND (I think that's where usernames are stored?) and put it on so it's called "Megalegacy's Homebrew Launcher". I'm also thinking about adding more built in functions like a calculator or something and custom themes with music.
Current Homebrew Menu:
It's at v0.1a currently. Homebrew launching doesn't actually work but I messaged the guy who made the interpreter and he said:
