My Gaming Journey

My Gaming Journey

Probably like a lot of other people using this website, I have a long history of gaming. Me and gaming date back to when I was around 3 years old. The first gaming device I ever used was the Leapfrog Leapad. Now I know , it's not an actual video game device, but it was still really fun to use (and educational)! Next up was the Nintendo Gamecube. I don't even know when my family got the console, I can't remember a day without knowing it was in my older brother's room. I loved the Gamecube, the games that you could play on there were so great! The games I played included: Mario Sunshine (my favorite), MarioKart Double Dash, Paper Mario, Crash Nitro Kart, Naruto, and NickToons Unite. These games were so awesome! All of them had some kind of challenging campaign that made them fun! Also playing with my family was also great! Next on the line is the Nintendo DS Lite. My older brother had one, and my twin brother and I really wanted, so my dad ended up buying us one for our birthday. Now Idk if this was with all the DSs, but I was able to play both DS and Gameboy Advance games on it, so on our birthday, my big brother gave me Pokemon Sapphire(which will forever hold a special place in my heart). That game is what started the love Pokemon that I have today. I played some other games on the DS like: Pokemon Pearl(I love so much), Mariokart DS, New Super Mario Bros, MySims Kingdom, Nintendo Dogs, and a bunch of other games that was on an R4 given by my Godmother. I love thinking about these games, because I get strong nostalgic feels. Shortly after the Nintendo DS Lite came the Nintendo Wii. It was a Christmas gift to me and my two brothers. I kind of underestimated it at first because I loved the DS, but as I started to play it, I started to turn away from the DS and to the Wii. Now, I still have my Wii to day because we have too many games for it. There is a long list games I loved to play, so I'm only gonna name favorites: Pokemon Battle Revolution(loved doing pokemon with my brothers and friends on here), Super Mario Galaxy 2, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Super Smash Bros Brawl(really fun to have tourneys), and Wii Party. All of these games were fun to play, but playing them with people made them 10x better. Also, when I figured out that the Wii could play Gamecube games, I started using the Gamecube less. Soon after the Wii, was the Nintendo DSi. My grandma gave each of my brothers and I one, so we didn't have to share. I was so excited, because while everyone around my age were starting to get phones, I got this. Now including the games I played on the DS I also played: Pokemon White(probably my favorite pokemon game), Pokemon Black 2, and a bunch of other games I got with DSi Ware. My love for computer gaming was found in another continent. My family took a trip to the Philippines(gorgeous place) to meet some family and vacation. One of my cousins owned a computer shop where people can come in and pay to use them. My family and I were allowed to use them for free. I saw my cousins playing this cool RPG on the computer, I asked them what it was, and they said it was GrandChase. When I started playing it, I was hooked. This was one of the best games I had ever laid hands on. Another games was suggested by my Aunt, Plants vs Zombies(probably my favorite game series competing with Mario and Pokemon). Unfortunately, a few years after the trip to the Philippines, GrandChase was shutdown. To this day, idk why it was shutdown, but the company that made the game, KOG Games, suggested that all GrandChase users move over to another RPG called Elsword, and they will get amazing gear, so I did. Elsword is a great game, and I still play it, but it doesn'tgive me the feeling I would get when playing GrandChase. Next on my journey is the Xbox 360. This was another Christmas gift to me and my brothers. I love this console so much! Me and my twin brother play this thing all the time! It came with 2 games Madden 25, and Halo 4, and I probably wouldn't have needed any other games then that, but I still got more. Other games that I played on the 360 were: Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare, DragonBall Xenoverse, and the Christmas gift trio GTA IV(going to my older bro), NBA 2k15(going to me, I suck at this game), and WWE 2k15(going to my twin), and later on GTA V. On the same day I got a 2DS. This kept my love for Nintendo games going. Soon after I got the 2DS I got Pokemon Y. Loved that game, it reminded me of Pokemon White. Got other games like: Alpha Sapphire, Super Smash Bros 3DS, MarioKart 7 Animal Crossing New Leaf, and many more. Soon I had desires to get myself an Xbox One. Microsft was making many Xbox One exclusives, so I had to get a next-gen console soon. Getting an Xbox One also made it easier to start my youtube account(GO SUBSCRIBE AT KINGLY93). I decided that I would get the newest model of the xbox one, since I didn't plan on buying their next console. At the time, that was the Xbox One S, which costed $249. Finally around late March 2017, I was able to save up enough $ to buy it, I was so happy that day. I couldn't stop thinking of all the good games I could finally play. Right now I have the games: Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2, Overwatch, and Battlefield 1. I plan on getting Halo 5 and GTA V soon. After getting all these gaming devices and consoles, and starting a gaming channel on youtube, I don't think I'm anywhere close to the end of my gaming journey.
