Not likely chance of an Olimar Smash Amiibo.

Olimar is a unique fighter depending on his Pikmin for a majority of his moves. 5 different types of Pikmin to pluck with different ranges and damages for each. How would Olimar know which specific Pikmin to use with what move especially when not playing another Olimar? Olimar also depends on using one of his moves to get more Pikmin so if a Pikmin falls off the stage while he's recovering how will he know when to replace them.
This CPU Olimar uses attacks without having PIkmin. The CPU also doesn't wait for Pikmin so Olimar can't use Smashes/grabs sometimes. It doesn't realize the only Pikmin it has is latched on the opponent when the CPU thinks it still has Pikmin. Sure It shouldn't be a big deal because a Lv. 50 Amiibo DK can selfdestruct because of a lack of vertical recovery however they are supposed to be better than Lv. 9 CPUs.

How are they going to fit Pikmin on the Amiibo stand anyway? Not to mention his helmet might be hard to make. He's not even from a popular franchise like Mario and Pikachu. This certainly seems to matter as there are more Amiibos made for popular characters and less Amiibos made for characters like the discontinued Villager, Marth, and Wii Fit Trainer.

according to the Nintendo direct of april 1, 2015, I saw that Olimar amiibo will be releasing in September of this year!
All Smash will have an Amiibo (from what Big N said) and I don't think that's that much of a big problem, it's not as if Nintendo couldn't solve it
They already said that all Smash characters will have an amiibo. I heard that they even made a Mii amiibo of Miyamoto.
I recall somewhere where nintendo said they were gonna have amiibos of all smash characters. They probably won't have the Pikmin on the stand, but the helmet probably won't be too big of an issue. The AMIIBO cpu tend to be smarter, so I could see that maybe not being an issue, but even if it was, I'd doubt that'd be enough to stop nintendo from releasing it, even if it was only being released in small quantities
You make a good point, but I think Ninty will find a way to make it work :3
