I woke up with a jolt. I felt strangely... weird. Was I not sleeping with my pj's on? No, they were on. Was my pillow not fluffed enough? No, it was pretty soft. Suddenly, I picked up a faint smell of smoke. "W-what?" Confused, I turned my head, only to see flames spreading on my wall. "GAAAHHH! Put it out! Put it out!" The smoke alarm was blaring as I struggled to grab some water because I was still sleepy. I dumped water on it, but strangely it was still not put out. I was starting to ponder if this was no ordinary fire when suddenly I was pushed into the fire. "Ahhhhh! Who are you, and what are you doing!" I was teleported into a strange realm. All I could see was darkness. A screen appeared in front of me. Then, I heard a deep, raspy voice. "PICK YOUR POWER, PLAYER." I rubbed my eyes in confusion. This couldn't be happening! Was I hallucinating? Dreaming? I wasn't dreaming or hallucinating. "COME ON, PICK YOUR POWER." I was about to pick a power when suddenly I had loads of questions. "W-wait a minute... where am I? W-who are you? I need answers, now!" I heard the voice again. "YOU WILL FIND OUT SOON ENOUGH. PLEASE, PICK YOUR POWER." I had no choice. Trembling, I scrolled through the many available "powers" until I saw one that interested me. "Black magic, a.k.a. telekinesis..." I whispered. "F-fine... I choose telekinesis!" I heard the voice again. "OKAY THEN, TYPE YOUR NAME IN, PLAYER." What the heck? Is this a video game or something? I typed in my name. "R-a-v-e-n. Raven." Suddenly instead of the voice, I heard a computer voice. "TELEPORTING RAVEN TO MYSTERIA..." Mysteria? What in the name of earth is that? Suddenly I was teleported to a lively place. I blinked, like three times. People flying? Setting things on fire? Freezing stuff? What? Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder.
