Pokemon Rumble Blast: Observe the Carnage, Part 1 (post game farm series)

Pokemon Rumble Blast: Observe the Carnage, Part 1 (post game farm series)

so ive decided to tackle whats probably the most rewarding (and optional) task in the game for pokemon rumble blast. i am going to try getting one of each kind of arceus in the game, and then just obliterate everything for fun (if i do get every type that is). im going to attempt the same thing in rumble world but its very self-explanatory for rumble world, so i thought highlighting rumble blast would leave more to talk about since theres so many issues that almost everyone will have with this personal side quest in game. pokemon rumble world we just reroll the legend balloon and stack the rainbows, then all you have to do is use the guest mii if you didnt get him. easy =P pokemon rumble blast its much worse for several reasons, and not just because of him being an RNG special boss either.

obviously judgement forces you to use protect since the homing power is so great, but he was also noticeably nerfed in rumble world compared to this game. it took him around 20 seconds to kill me instead of the nasty 5 seconds it wouldve been in rumble blast. This is what happens if you try to beat him without protect! judgement will almost certainly hit you and it kills within a matter of seconds. then that puts us to another, non-combat based problem for the last issue: we need to make sure he has judgement as one of his moves. this is a necessity since hes a lot weaker without it. apart from it being needed, the move tutor is a total ripoff/ scam in this game (it asks for 7 more mons to teach judgement... what is the point of having it listed... please).

so as you can see we have a pretty serious plethora of problems trying to get each kind of arceus and with judgement as well. its very hard to beat him as it is. having this many RNG conditions and a very crappy move tutor is not a great combination at all. you can get some dummy ones to leech judgement, yes, but thats a huge waste for obvious reasons. why would we discard 7+ arceus that have judgement to teach one judgement? this was what i liked more in rumble world, the price was a lot more reasonable than rumble blast was especially for legendary meta moves. now, i dont know if theres a special 5* move vendor for this problem but so far i dont think so

now to get straight to the series, with our list of complications out of the way here... i spent over 3 hours running through the tower area in world axle, had probably around 20-30 rumpus rooms (these are VERY annoying and tedious... i dont suggest fighting these out but i did because you know me), and i found 2 arceus... but one had no judgement and thats bad because our ripoff move tutor =( the second one was X number of rumpus rooms and rerolls later, was fire type and had judgement, so i didnt walk out of this grind sitting empty handed at least. i wanted to get one more with judgement but ran out of time and had to quit. closed the sitting with 2 of these and i exited some excess rayquaza battles as well to save time (i think hes great with sky attack+ protect but i need to check if he can learn sky attack again). i feel like a flying type arceus would outrank sky attack rayquaza, but is a lot more RNG of course.

the reason arceus is so good is because of how spammy and powerful judgement is, and he can cheese hordes and bosses in the game with significantly less effort and danger. he does this well in rumble world and it still shines well in this game too. you can backround camp anything easily with him. so every kind of arceus, youve got the whole post game set apart from team battle EX-6 and battle royal EX-6. all i can tell you for those is good luck... the battle royal is easily the worst of the two and unfortunately not nearly as worthwhile in terms of reward.

in order to beat Arceus, protect is mandatory. no protect means youre almost guaranteed to lose. so i have water, fire, and a couple rock type ones i got a while back, not even halfway there. i found a ground type one but this was the dud drop arceus with no judgement sadly... so fire was only real one today. i always use protect before attacking him since he has faster windup times than most and much worse attack. also, hurry up! if you take too long he will heal indefinitely so you cant take it slow at all here. you have to be as aggressive as possible for this reason.

the kinds i would love to get are ghost, dark, flying and dragon since those would cover many areas easily. i also really want a fairy type arceus in rumble world too but there is a 24-hour cooldown to encounter a different kind for that game, so i need to wait a lot there

i will grind more tomorrow and write part 2 if enough time =)
