MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
moving on, this is basically a list of the stuff that dataminers have been able to get out of the SM demo, which includes some new moves, items, and 1 more thing...
one of nintendo's biggest mistakes ever: somehow, the sprites for most, if not ALL, of the new pokemon were actually left inside the demo, including both their normal and shiny forms.
so, lets start off with the simple stuff first:
New Moves
Psychic Terrain - Pokemon on the ground can't be hit by priority, and Psychic-type moves are boosted
Throat Chop - The target Pokemon can't use sound-based moves for 2 turns
Aurora Veil - Halves damage from all attacks for 5 turns
Laser Focus - The move on the turn after the Pokemon uses Laser Focus always results in a critical hit.
what i think from this is that the starters might get their own signature moves, like with the last gen. each of the last 3 attacks would make sense to be used with the starter's final evos.
New Items
not much here, but at least we get to see wat the z-ring/gems will look like.
The Sprites
buckle up bois, it's time to see our new pokemon \o/
new UBs on the left, new totem-ish mons on the right (last one is kinda big, sry)
3 more alola forms and ash's pikachu also wtf happened to persian's head dear god
some more sprites, including 2 new evos and 2 new mons
more evos, including pikipek somehow becoming a toucan and crabrawler getting all fuzzy
wimpod's evo, a new mon, and all the colors of minior
the final evos for the starters (i still kinda hate littens final evo)
pokeball magearna (not a shiny form)
potential pre-evos for the legendaries?
