The Hideous Rage

Lately, I have been noticing a lot of hate towards Metroid. The reason? They made a spin-off for 3DS. This will be a little rant directed at people hating that game (or other games of similar nature) The main hatred for this game, as far as I can tell, is the time since a new metroid game. The last one we got, Other M, released in 2010, and for 6 years, fans have been waiting for a new one. When word came out about Federation Force, fans were insulted by the lack of Samus Aran, and deviation from the last four games. However, most fans were WAY oversensitive about it. Almost everytime I watch a YT video on Federation Force, the comment section is full of Butt-hurt fans whining about how it's not what they wanted. Sure, Metroid might have skipped the Wii U, but it's sure to be on NX. Don't forget, Metroid skippe the N64 too. In my opinion, Nintendo released Federation Force as fuel for the fire towards the new Metroid that is almost certain to land on the NX. It's plot also expands a lot more on what the Federation we hear about (and sometimes interact with) in the First three Primes actually does. On top of that, after playing it myself, it plays very similarly to the Metroid Prime, with a few obvious adjustments. To all Metroid fans, just be patient. Metroid Federation Force is proof Metroid won't be gone for long.

I think most of the dislike towards the game comes from the fact that no one asked for it in the first place.
People didnt even exspect a metroid game on 3ds.
And the whole "people complaining about change" aspect in the fanbase already started when prime was released
Also,i have to give ff that,it makes more sense than Prime Ball

The only time the fanbase was right about a game being crap was when Hunters was released (imo)
That game really was a huge dissapointment,ff atleast feels like a Metroid game
