2DS

When I first saw the design, it looked stupid honestly. I mean that would look so hard to handle to me. However, I bet it's selling well though among younger audiences. I know lots of people that have 2DSes. I mean I was skeptical about its sales, but maybe it was a good choice for Nintendo to make.

This is just my opinion, but some people that I have known thing the 2ds is overpriced and a generic version of the 3ds, but it could actually help kids' eyesight. Since the 2ds has no 3d, it will be safer for kids under 7 to use and they will be able to play the games they love like their older siblings. There are also no hinges to bend (and break) so it will be more kid-proof. What do you think?

I think that since it's cheap, and since the 3D isn't anything worthwhile to begin with, that it's a great thing! OFC, this is coming from a guy who bought the 2DS because it was cheap enough so I could pre-order Persona Q with the rest of my cash. Probably would have opted out for the 3DS XL if I did have the money.
I dunno. I figure it's much easier to hold and use the controls since you have more area for that, but I never actually used a 3DS so I can't know for sure. It doesn't seem bad. And it does fit in some of my pockets.

The 2DS was a pretty nice idea, since people may have money problems, no interest in 3D, or eye health concerns. The 2DS is rather simple and is a pretty good gaming console.

It is good for people who doesn't want a 3D feature but want to play 3DS games. They are a lot cheaper as well.
Personally I think 2DS is very similar to the DS Lite but change some features to be like 3DS. The design is very different and I'm worried if the screen will be damaged (especially the softer touch screen). Or maybe the screen material will be more like game boy?

I had to work with a 2DS for a while and it helped me decide I didn't want one.

It bugs me that you can't fold it to protect its screens and save space at the same time. You can buy a pocket for it but it will still take so much space.

But the main reason I didn't like it was for the sound. It had a single speaker on it, so I spent most of my time with headphones, otherwise the sound wasn't really good...
